the p55 does not support vt-d but the i7-860 supports vt-d so.. does the platform supports vt-d?? kinda confusing... unless both are independent |

QUOTE(Irishcoffee @ Sep 17 2009, 12:55 AM) i juz bought an i7 860 system for my frenz i'm not suprised coz the stock heatsink i believe is smaller/shorter profile ?i tested its system the proc running quite hot 70c on intelburntest in AIRCOND room with stock cooler la~ faint , no oc can reach 70c?mayb turbo mode cause it? does the stock heatsink comes with copper core? or its all alu? http://processorfinder.intel.com/details.aspx?sSpec=SLBJJ according to intel spec.. ur thermal margin is very narrow.. and most likely will throttle? then turbo boost is kinda useless with stock heatsink This post has been edited by jinaun: Sep 22 2009, 10:09 PM |
