QUOTE(Core_Tracer @ Aug 27 2009, 05:34 PM) after thinking about saving only 2 hundred bucks juz for slight decrease in performance, i think i rather fill up those few hundred and get a more solid i7-920, for the 2-way x16 PCI-E.ya but now i kinda miss the i7-860's OC capability. Added on August 27, 2009, 5:45 pm QUOTE(dazzle @ Aug 27 2009, 05:36 PM) I been told about this........... the i7 comes with 2 variants, i7 Lynnfield on socket 1156 and i7 Bloomfield on socket 1366.Intel what to standard all the i3,i5,i7,i9 same socket. My manual on the GA-P55-UD4p state about the i7 with socket 1156 can be use....... Sorry about the 1166.....is 1156. This post has been edited by don^don: Aug 27 2009, 05:45 PM |

yes, high ddr3 frequency on P55, but the latency is too lose, not my style.
i still prefer tighter latency. |
