those are juz verifications, so the user might be on LN2, so plz don hav the mindset that its a sure thing to get 5GHz from the new i5.

QUOTE(Core_Tracer @ Aug 27 2009, 05:34 PM)
not considering i7 860?
*
after thinking about saving only 2 hundred bucks juz for slight decrease in performance, i think i rather fill up those few hundred and get a more solid i7-920, for the 2-way x16 PCI-E.

ya but now i kinda miss the i7-860's OC capability. happy.gif and also i love the color theme of those plentiful P55 cards. LOL!

I been told about this...........
Intel what to standard all the i3,i5,i7,i9 same socket.
My manual on the GA-P55-UD4p state about the i7 with socket 1156 can be use.......
Sorry about the 1166.....is 1156.
*
the i7 comes with 2 variants, i7 Lynnfield on socket 1156 and i7 Bloomfield on socket 1366.

but hope they don come that fast, maybe next year after i get my bonus lulz. coz my P6T will come tml.

if new boards come out next month, i'l cry.

yes, high ddr3 frequency on P55, but the latency is too lose, not my style.

i still prefer tighter latency.
