When LGA775 phase out there will be no more duo core proc for sale ah??

All "core i" seems to be quad core based and i havent seen any with duo....

Core i7 860 and 870 are better than Core i920 biggrin.gif
Maybe Core i5 750 can compare with.
The main thing is that you can have higher Bus speed(BCLK) and higher DDR3 value on P55 configuration.

I think that is because dual channel is less burden than triple.
Correct me if I am wrong.

i5 sound good within reasonable price range , i guess p55 prince range will be around 100-200 USD , p55 price wont go beyond x58

Intel to usher in Core i5 processors on September 6th?
Come September 6th, the Core i7 860 and Core i7 870 should be available priced at $284 and $562, respectively, per thousand-unit quantities.
