so far go........i running the i5 750 with Window Vista. The score is 5.9.
Running with Win 7...Score is 7.9.
look like the WIn7 requirement is lower.

Its not due to lower requirement...if im not mistaken the highest score for vista is 5.9...may b for seven its 7.9...Sorry noob here...correct me if im wrong...

Im planning to get i7 920 after intel launches i9 but im afraid that at q1 2010, i7 920 will not b in d market anymore...i heard they stop d production of i7 920...Is this true?...Sorry man...noob question...

imo, dont think 860 is a good go for 1156...
better stick with i7 with tri channel based

i7 with tri channel got BCLK limitation,TDP 130,memory 1066(at least new revision come soon). blush.gif
All dual channel kits "flying" on P55 system,TDP 95,memory 1333(on X58,limited by X58/i7 uncore/qpi frequencies and IMC) ,DDR3 2400-2600 no problem.WR atm are DDR3 3144.

i didnt see any special here
if not mistaken i7 920 + tri-channel DDR3 2000(PC16000) 8-8-8 already can do 21k Write ; 17k read...
erm.. i missing anything?
