i thought you cant send non-malaysian sets to sony malaysia? thats the downside of SG set. if you need to make a warranty claim, you'll need to ship it to sony SG (shipping charges must be paid by you IINM) and on top of that it will take ages before you get it back. the advantage is you pay roughly rm300 less on the initial purchase. but taking into account the charges you may incur in the fututre, rm300 is pretty reasonable for that added peace of mind.

what if my non-MY PS3 has finished warranty, but it has some problems which require repair. can i send to sony MY for repairs which i'll PAY for?
