Just curious , my little winter gold hamster , she will suddenly squeek by herself as if got ppl disturb her but her cagemate not even near her. Or else if she running at wheel , my winter white pearl hamster come and run opposite direction , she will be angry and squeek like as if she shouting D:.

Butt sniffer , chip , strike 3 , and still rejected. He dont harm them though , but when he tries to 'ride' them , they will marah marah and go squeek frenzy on him!

lol same goes to my female Sapphire...she always squeek2 even though the other hamster just want to sleep beside her...she assumes that whenever any hamster is on top of her, she will thinks that the hamster want to attack her...if she squeek like 5seconds(estimate) she will pee a bit..if she peed, she will lick it(euww yucks shocking.gif )

my male Sapphire eats mealworms like eating choki-choki la laugh.gif he will bites off the mealworm heads then will eats everything except the skin... sweat.gif

@hublee91: please take out one of your hamster immediately, winter whites can do well alone.. and even if they can be with other hamsters, they do well only in pairs not so much in groups actually unless introduced when young.. only robos are easy to be in groups

@ix3Rukia: happens to my dogs too. male wanna ride, female start growling

@noruddin: don't feed too much mealworms, i read before that they actually cause digestive problems

@omara86: well as long as their siblings dont mate each other.. if so their offsprings are from inbreeding which can cause genetic mutation and deformed physical features

never ever have inbreeding (siblings mate with siblings, parents mate with siblings etc)

will result in defects

@maksevrod: eyes can go missing. physical defects are common.
in lions, cause they were place together in conservation areas, it was found that their sperm cannot swim in a normal "8" shape anymore cause they all kept in same place so mate with each other

@omara, your cages look so small, syrians need 2ft tanks to themselves, how big is each cage??

Plan B is to seperate them totally.

My suggestion is:

Prepare a cage without any sense at all, with brand new bedding.

Introduce them slowly, put them in together, see their reaction.
If they tend to fight, try to separate them and introduce them again.
They should be ok after few times attempts.

If not, separate them for good.

But i'm afraid if Didi gets injured in a short fight. Should I be brave to try it??

More info : They are both MALE winter whites, Didi is brown in color, Sampat is gray in color.
