if your hamster collect all the bedding at 1 place & sleeps at another place far away from it then u know but there can be another reason too...maybe its just too hot...depends....

hahaha that is different...that is using some kind of modern farming...greenhouse or dont know what its called....very expensive wan....

first of all when the hamster is pregnant u must not move the mother...u should move all the other hamster...mother leave alone in her cage....coz if u move her it will add up stress to her. why u need to close the cage with cloth? just like like normal will do la....just make sure got proper place for her to hide her babies maybe like in a hamster house...& try not to play loud loud musics.

yeah its normal for not all the babies to survive... especially for first time...but u can do things to make the chances of survival higher...like give plenty of food to her...give bread soaked with milk...hard boil egg...etc..

yup u must not disturb the bedding or clean it until the babies are big enough. also those hamster u need separate cage for each of them...or else fighting might occur & i m sure u know that....if u mix them from young babies then its a different case la....but this 1 adult already...cannot simply mix mix...

also when the babies are old enough u will need to separate the males & females...to prevent pregnancy among brother & sisters....

but gamat is sticky right...if it is then sand bath might not be able to remove it very well....if sand bath dosent work then u can bath them with warm water...just make sure they are fully dry after bathing...

btw june....your hamster uses sand bath ah? my syrian until today dont know how to use it...he use that to pee instead

will do....but now i m thinking twice...the thickness is quite thick leh....dont know if i will be able to melt it thru or not....or maybe go for another setup for the bottle....

ooo....not bad tho...i usually clean his toilet twice a week...1st cleaning is just simple cleaning...remove those that absorb the pee already & some minor bedding cleaning....the second time which is usually sunday i will clean everything...fresh bedding...wash with water or use wet cloth if i m lazy at that day.....fresh food etc... thats how usually i clean my hamster cage la...

yup....rm20(his normal price is rm22, got cheap coz bulk purchase i guess) for 60litre is not bad what...hehehe usually i buy small packet around 15litre i think also around rm7-8 at my place....so this is quite cheap d

btw where to find 8" & above wheel ah? john u still havent buy yours? i m thinking of getting a more bigger wheel...anywhere they sell more than 8" or maybe just 8" prefer subang area...

btw omara i suggest u to change that wheel...get a new better one...coz that 1 is not good...the hamster leg will get caught between that metal bars...

actually for syrain at least 8" wheel....but the bigger the better....& actually its best for them to be alone in each tank/cage but if no space what to do...its hard to say...fighting might occur anytime...first they might look ok then later suddenly fight...try to keep an eye if possible...but never try to mix male...or male & male also...chances of fighting is very high...from what i read...dont know true or not tho..

edit: now that i already change to a tank i might consider selling my cage...its very good & nice cage...it comes with tubes...not confirm yet tho....selling the cage with the tubes together but can only fit 1 syrian la...coz its not very big cage...medium size

that should be ok...but still hamster might fight to use it where u bought that? is it good? i mean stable? the metal bar dont look quite thick...

my hamster is sleeping in his house with the bedding cover all over....hahaha maybe he feeling cold coz i on aircon

btw i didnt go for making a hole setup for the water bottle....i went using metal wire instead....i thinking that day...if i stop keeping hamster already in future at least i can still sell the tank if people want to buy for fishes or maybe i planed to keep fish in future... so no need make & hole & spoil the plastic aquarium la

oh...i dont think my hamster can climb up the bottle water...yesterday he was trying but keep falling down...he very fat & lazy one...
