Just wanna ask how could I change my mailing address from CDS, because all my dividend cheque still sending to my old address. Should I infrom the stock broking firm and they will notify CDS?

Just inform your broking firm, change the correspondence address, you request to fill up a form

Mine is OSK bank. Do I need to go to the OSK bank in Jalan Ampang to change my address?

I just emailed KAF, hopefully is suffice ... hehe

For OSK, request them email/post you the form, fill it up then post back, done
or you can drop by any OSK branch

You need to sign the changing address form.

They need to verify your signature before can proceed the change.

So troublesome, sigh .. tq for the advise though

It is for security reason.

Previously we have a fraud case involving broker/remiser which reported in newspaper whereby the broker that change the client CDS correspondence address, after that the broker sold the clients' CDS share, since the correspondence address is not the client address, the CDS statement never reach the client, so the client never knew his/her share was being sold. The brokers gone missing in action afterwards, after utilised the money from the sold shares to don't know where.

The CDS statement and investment house monthly statement are actually an important document to verify your trade.
