Since everyone is so anxious about this Maxis IPO,
What will you do IF you kena 200 lots?
How do you want to play on listing day?
*
Assuming that you mean the big-lots(biji)..
5.20 -> sell 50
5.50 -> sell 50
5.70 -> sell 50
5.80-6.00 -> i believe there would be strong resistance here
6.20 -> sell the remaining 50. If not, sell at any price before end of trading day
6.50 -> this would be the ultimate scenario, najib would be very happy to see this happen

conclusion: will clear all ASAP on the listing day, it is too expensive to keep any leftover for dividend play

Not that big lots, 1 lot=100 shares.  1,000 shares = 10 lots.

Why do you want to sell at 50 lots (5,000 shares)?
Why not sell at 20 lots (2,000 shares)?
*
Oh, regarding why sell at 50 lots...no reason, just for the "illustration" purpose only tongue.gif
Just trying to say that i would clear my stock at 25%/25%/25% at 5.20/5.50/5.70 with remaining 25%
for intraday speculation play. My reasoning is based on assuming that the sellers want to make 10% profit on top of their IPO cost.

retail investor buy 4.75->sell 5.20
brokerage themselves buy 5.00->sell 5.50
big kaki bidder buy 5.20->sell 5.70
small kaki bidder buy 5.50->sell 6.00

those who got the IPO must hold the stock for 6 months or can sell on day 1 straightaway?
*
Bro, dont tell me you kena the IPO already but donno this sweat.gif
For ppl like us, we can sell from 1st day straighaway.

It is the cornerstone investors(EPF & some investment fund orgs) which must hold the stock for 6 months.

Thanks, and did you get any?
how long do u reckon that i should hold?
I tot they said should not hold it for too long, as it is an expensive shares and is best to invest it on other cheaper shares?
*
"Too long" doesnt mean 1 day. tongue.gif You need to look at the volume to decide whether it is 'hot' enough to sell at the best price u can get.

y maybank deduct the amount show succesful
and i check mih using my IC
it return 0 resullt
so mean i dont get??

1. Your cheque bounce - not possible because you using maybank2u
2. You put wrong name/IC number - highly unlikely because the bank use your account profile automatically
3. You were put in reserve slots
4. Your CDS account number is wrong or it is nominee type
5. You forgot to put dash in IC when checking via MIH - highly likely nod.gif

Regarding to the 'pending' cases, it is most likely that you are so 'lucky'(in the sarcastic way) to be in the 10% reserve list. The refund process is pretty 'manual'(so not auto-bank-in to you), MIH will send the cheque to you later(expect >1 week).

This is what the MIH lady told me that day....They will send out the refund cheques in 3 batches, the final batch would be this wednesday(dec 2), their system can't check whether which batch your refund is in.

I just got my 52K refund cheque(full refund due to nominee CDS account vmad.gif ) yesterday. Remember to check your IC/hometown mailbox, it is NOT the address you registered with your bank(at least for my case, maybank) if you apply via atm/eshare.
