Just got back from Multi Purpose Tower. The situation is very tense there. Massive jams caz of ppl getting down n dropping their envelope in.

2 hours to closing time. 5pm 5 Nov 2009.

A precaution. DO NOT DRIVE TO THE BUILDING. GET OFF AT BUKIT NENAS MONORAIL OR DANG WANGI LRT STATION. IT IS WALKING DISTANCE TO THE BUILDING.

There are multiple checkpoints and drive thru to deposit the envelope all over the ground zero. There are booths to drop off all over the place also.

DO NOT DRIVE THERE AND DO NOT GET ANYWHERE NEAR CAPSQUARE.

Maxis Bhd, the mobile-phone company conducting Malaysia’s biggest public offering this month, raised the price range of its shares to RM5-RM5.50 apiece following a “strong” interest from institutional investors.

There was “strong momentum on Friday across the globe with the book growing materially in terms of both size and quality,” according to an e-mail sent to investors from CIMB Investment Bank Bhd, the principal adviser.

“Any investors with limits below RM5 should expect to miss the transaction.”

The previous price guidance was RM4.80 to RM5.50 a share. - Bloomberg
