Come on lar guys, don't need to say people are disqualified because of so and so reason. We don't know for sure anyway. Let's not dash the hopes of the people.

QUOTE(htt @ Nov 9 2009, 10:54 PM) White form. From what it seems, the more you apply the higher the chances.Apply 100 share -> 23.09% chances get. Apply 200 share -> 24.44% chances get. ... Bumi 100% get... Added on November 9, 2009, 11:05 pm QUOTE(thk38 @ Nov 9 2009, 11:00 PM) Just curious, according to following article, I think the 60 mil extra probably the blue forms.KUALA LUMPUR: Maxis Communications Bhd (MCB) plans to list its Malaysian operations Maxis Bhd (Maxis), under an initial public offering (IPO) which will involve 2.25 billion shares, of which 2.075 billion will be offered to institutions and the remaining 174.79 million for the public and its customers. Refer to the MIH - Maxis BHD report card total number of allocated share only 117.44 million, is that meant there are still 60 million share for the public and maxis's customers up for grab? QUOTE(sailou @ Nov 10 2009, 09:43 PM) Sorry noob here. How does that translate into? Actually 1st day starting price is still depend on the Theoretical Opening Price (TOP) which will be determined 30 mins before Morning session. Although the reference price might show either RM4.75 or RM5.00 but ref price doesn't matter one. Because during the TOP calculation, the most volume to be traded at a certain price will be selected and it will go from there. Is the public listing starts at RM4.75 or RM5.00? What happens to the difference of amount being paid by every subscriber? Example i bought 1000 unit at RM5200. |

The Star Report
Hmmm I'm surprised those funds who offered the deal of buying minimum 50k shares to their clients were not happy with their allocations. Maybe too many bids which would explain the dissapointment. Might also explain why the public application only 1.8 times if a lot of people who believed that buying those minimum 50k would stand a better chance. |

I just got news as well that I received back the "A" envelope. Seems like Blue form really unlucky.
Should've concentrated on White form instead. Now I'm more convinced that White form is 40% and Blue is 20%. |

QUOTE(tan1818 @ Nov 18 2009, 01:31 AM) Wasn't confident of getting it with the blue form as forgot to include maxis bill in the application. Check with Public bank today and bank draft cleared Congrats, I think you are the 1st one in this thread to confirm they got the Blue Form balloting. Very surprise indeed |

QUOTE(tysern @ Nov 18 2009, 03:03 AM) Yes congratulations to you. Did you try the white form?To those people who got rejected, I GOT MY NEWS VERY WAY BACK. About one week ago. HAS BEEN FUC**** depressed since then. A little bit of advice: Just don't get depressed. Looking forward to investing into maxis in the long term, and into other potential shares. Remember: WHATEVER that doesn't KILL YOU ONLY MAKES YOU STRONGER. p/s: if you think the gov/ quota policy is to blame, make that turn into other better opportunities for you. Remember, to be able to prepare the cash to buy shares is already one achievement. Look at the others who are dead broke to be able to even afford this kind of investment. *Hint Hint* I tried all my means, but still ended up with zero. (asked my friends to apply, apply more shares, etc etc) But still ended up with zero. Even with one blue form. |
