Dear all,

If want renovate, I should go DBKL and apply.

But, anything I should bring or do ?

What should I tell or not to tell ?

Will it be approved easily, and how long to approve ?

Can the renovation start before approval ?

Where is the DBKL office ? Half day leave enuff ?
I want to apply renovation permit, assume no wall banging.

it depends on what you want to do. if you want to extend your house, yes you need to go dbkl (if your house is under dbkl areas).

i wan paint, awning, bigger gate and tiles.

close my lubang staircase with tiles.
and backside want extend a bit.

If minor renovation you can go dbkl and just buy a plan, they have the standard plan. Only charges less than RM 100. (I guess). Can be approve one day.
