I collected my new iphone on sat morning and as soon as I got home and hooked it up to get my data sync into the phone I happily started downloading some apps to play around. Got a few phonecalls, sent smses...and suddenly out of the blue in the afternoon when I received a phone call, I noticed that the screen saver looked weird. The background was totally white!

I'll put some photos to show you what I mean. The weird thing was that when I took a screen shot, the image is correct. But viewing it on the screen shows a photo negative type view and almost similar to the "white on black" accessibility option which trust me is off. I've tried everything from soft reset to hard reset and installing the latest firmware 3.0.1. and restoring it but no luck.

I'm going to be bringing it in to maxis to claim for warranty as I didn't jailbreak it or anything and hardly played much with it. Just thought I'd share it with everyone else and wonder if anyone else is as unlucky as me So near and yet so far....now I don't know how long the claim will take.
