I saw this player below spec , will u buy .. worth ? price ~RM250 (market >500)


2nd Generation Mstar chipset . NO DTS.


Realtek 1073dd chipset best now in market , but price not cheap.

*Altenative Mstar 2nd generation (not the best one) .. but can handle all rmvb,h264 ..

how much?

Price not over RM400.

For me, I worried about firmware update.. So right now mostly will do with htpc.. unless somebody release open source player.. Just like what linksys do with their router long time ago and it really take off..

any review for it?

i think the price is expensive, in outside i can get that spec about RM250+

1080p player ? source please... ^.^

What about output i.e. HDMI, component? USB, eSATA etc?

I hope the casing outlook is nicer than most of the currently available made-in-china players. I really like how the WDTV and the soon to be available Asus OPlay players look. Also, remote in English!!

Any digital audio output (coax or optical)? Can play FLAC files? English menu?

i vote for 3.5 hdd inside and .mkv support

the egreat one is very nice, looks abit like the WDTV but is actually 2 pcs of folded brushed anodized black aluminium plates..

this player also aluminium plates.

720p rmvb needed? WDTV don't have.

If you guys are getting HD players, best is to get nice 1080p Movies as well...yummy...
After you are hooked to HD stuff, you will never play DVDrips anymore

Not until it has a solid constant firmware update from Mstar. Getting RCA LH8 and ChangLing 668 let me learnt my lesson

true.. but the new chipset already rewrite the new core software , new U.I.

improve:

-CPU speed increase
-1080p HDMI output controller builtin CPU.
-Redesign core software (new U.I)

New feature:
-Increase H264 compatibility
-720p RMVB bitrate upto 10MB. (old 5MB)
-Seek time function
-SRT subtitle can change color.
-support M2TS , AVCHD format.
-support Sub,Idx Subtitle

Be frankly speaking, if price cheap can consider with all those feature...

bugs in the UI maybe firmware can help,. but playback capabilities and compatibility , better to start looking at chipset before considering media players..

Not all player are perfect. ~



Korea Telechip TCC8900 1080p chipset also coming soon. ~ can beat realtek ?

too bad this Amlogic not support WMV,VC-1.

i just bought a H10R and you tell me this. makes me heart attack

opps..supplier give me wrong price. is non dts version (Mstar Chipset).

Its good information for everybody. people always want to get good entertainment to reduce their stress and tension.
