Correction about alot of people seems to get mistaken.


"Gold Plated" HDMI cables are nothing but a ploy.
They're not gold, they do not prevent corrosion (don't belive? dip the head in water and don't wipe it dry, store in contained area... check back a few days).

They're just simply painted as gold.
So don't play into all these gold plated crap, it doesn't do a damn thing at all (neither preventing corrosion or some "smartass" saying it gives you better PQ).



The marketing tricks are just stupid. rolleyes.gif

Virtually any other brand can be used.
Some certain models may have issues however.

If you wan't something cheap, I-tech clip II mini is only RM90+ or so.
Quality is very good.

Its not lag, its in-level loading.
Nothing new and has been like that long before the game even released.

Nothing to worry about.

Uhm no.
Blu-ray is just a more advanced storage medium.

It doesn't mean games will run better. That depends on how the game is made.
The levels are streamed directly from the disc in real-time, and it is known widely that the PS3 blu-ray drive is only 2x.

So its nothing new or weird that theres about in-level loading.

The purpose is subjective.
MY PSN store charges too much the content, it is cheaper to buy from HK/SG store instead.

Yan, just told you on MSN.... you can register MY PSN as your main.
But make sure to have a US and UK/EU PSN as well.

You'll need a valid postcode for each respective region though, so just google up some hotels or restaurants in US and UK to get their address and use them.

Yan, DLC is as what it is... just extra downloadable content.
It does not alter the game's completion at all.

You just need to understand that DLC are just extra contents to spice things up in the game further after release.
Different games have different amount of extra content as well different type of content of course, so best to do the research in what games you're interested in before purchasing.

No munyau.
DLC doesn't affect if you can get Platinum or not.

Trophies that are shipped with the game are all that matters to unlock platinum.
Anything else that come later, does not. However that also means that if you don't purchase the DLC, you can't get 100% trophy completion.

I've heard it before, its just an abrupt auto-restart.

Nothing serious.
If problem still persists, re-install the game.

Nothing wrong with the console.
Its the game.... plenty of bugs, AC2 is prone to freezing. Just happened to me yesterday.

If it happens repeatedly, I suggest you re-install.

If you actually did read the first post of this thread, all your problems would have been solved.
The reason why your PS3 did not detect the firmware file is because you did not put in a correct folder structure.

PS3 > UPDATE > <PS3 update file here>

Thats how the folder structure should be.


And again if you want to view everything on your thumbdrive go to a media tab (music/video) and select your thumbdrive, press Triangle and view all info.
All this has been answered many many times already.
