You do realize that setting up a PS3 takes a very short amount of time.

Carrying a PS3 up and down isn't a very hard thing to do.

Ben,

Do you happen to know what the price of an Intensity is at Macasia?

Do you think they'd give discount if a few people buy Multibridge one shot?

There shouldn't be any problems I'd say.
However using a DS2 means that you won't have SIXAXIS in games. Not like it is a major feature or anything though....
Emmm.... I saw from MacAsia in Great Eastern Mall a couple of months ago, the Intensity is around RM799.
I think if you buy a bulk for the Multibridge, you'd certainly get something close to dealer's prices.

However, last I saw was that there are only 2 units left for the Multibridge and the boss told me they aren't having any plans to bring any more in the near future.

Firstly, calibration isn't necessary, but your games will look nicer if you play around with the brightness, contrast and all those nice stuff.

Games will usually choose the resolution they run natively in.

For example, my PS3 runs with all the boxes ticked (480p, 720p, 1080i, 1080p). Games like MGS4 and GT5P will play at 1080p, while games like Resistance 2 run at 720p. Some CE Blurays run at 1080i, though.

You can untick 1080i and 720p, which will force most games to run at 1080p. However, this may lead to issues (framerate, aliasing) and some games (like R2 Uncharted 1) only plpay in either 480p or 720p, which means it will play in 480p instead of 1080p.

Quite a few PS3 games are blurry, due to the unusual form of anti-aliasing in some games (QAA).

Batter? Isn't that for baking?

If you meant 'better', though, they should be about the same, unless you have a HDMI Receiver and want to Bitstream 7.1 audio, in which case the Slim will be better.

You must backup everything on external HDD first, since PS3 will reformat it when you put it in a new PS3.

Open and suck out the dust using low-powered vacuum.

If don't dare open, suck from the vents (start with the backside vent)
