I will give my prediction on all other teams...

Liverpool:
Previously thought they would be a strong contender but as for now, I predict may not do that well compare to last season unless there are some massive reinforcement for the loss assets

Chelsea:
Strong contender but may not win the title this season.

Manchester City:
Will have a lot of players' morality issue of not being able to play in first team. Spiky has a lot of works to be done to manage all the players.

Everton:
Will still be an improved team but may not achieve the same rank as last season.

Arsenal:
Still a strong team but Will have consistency problem of keep winning to cope for top places with the current competitiveness of BPL.

note: This is only a prediction and is pure based on personal views & are not against any team. Everyone is free to air their views on anything (in a good manner).

Thats actually not giving a prediction on other teams, more like predicting your own team(Man U).
You could simply sum up the above post with a line as so:
Predictor Uno: Man United is going to win the BPL.

Another star foreign player will use the excuse of "I hate the English weather/ My missus wants me to move/ Playing for (insert team name here) has always been my dream" to want a move away to "greener" (the color of the bills?) pastures abroad.

Good topic... But perhaps people reserve their comments to avoid offending anyone...?

Anyway, here are some of mine (I'm an Arsenal fan btw):

Prem Title: Liverpool
Statistically, they should have won last year if Gerrard and Torres were fit. If they keep hold of the squad, I think they will be odds on to win. If they don't... well you cannot possibly rule out Man Utd despite losing CRon.

Champs League spots: Same old same old.
As someone mentioned, Man City may face problems with their big squad. On the flip side, Villa may face problems with their small one. Year after year, I always feel that Spurs may pose a threat, but year after year I worry for nothing. But this year with ol 'Arry on board, they may be darkhorses.

Relegation Candidates
Burnley and Wolves to go back down (Wolves for no reason other than the top team from Championship always goes down!). Possibly Hull as well.

Player of the Year: Arshavin!!!
Ok slight bias here. But this guy is really something. If we were to challenge this year, you can bet your bottom dollar that we will depend heavily on the Russian. While I'm a bit pessimistic about our title chances, I think we will still be in the top 4 and his performances will play a key role.

Best Signing Michael Owen...?
Ideally, I should wait till the end of the window for this... But so far, there hasn't been a transfer to the prem that made everyone stand up and take notice. So I'll just go for Owen, who'll probably get a decent amount of goals... And he cost nothing too!

Worst Signing: Adebayor!!
Ok slight bitterness here. But 25 mio is a lot of money. Having said that, Roque Santa Cruz may struggle as well, as his record only shows one good year in Blackburn.

First Managerial Casualty
Probably one of the promoted clubs. Possibly also that guy Hart at Pompey. If Man City fails to break the top 4, expect Mark Hughes to be shown the exit door.

Others
1) Much closer race to the La Liga, but Barca to nick the title.
2) Don't watch much Serie A so I'll just tembak... er... Juventus?
3) World Cup winners.... England!... Ok I'm not much of a comedian... maybe Germany because Germany will always be GERMANY during tournaments.

Manchester United related:
1) Berbatov will be United Player of the Season - Unless he hits 35 goals at least he's not gonna stand a chance. Not many United fans rate him and he'll have to be Berbatastic to even be considered
2) Rooney will be played on the left at least ONCE during the course of the season - If Owen and Berba clicks
3) van der Sar will stay for ONE more season after Sir Alex discovers Ben Foster is Saha II and PIG is crap - We'll probably sign a quality keeper if Foster or PIG doesnt make the cut next summer. Akinfeev?
4) United will sign one more player. - I'm betting on this as well. Prob another last minute Berba swoop.
5) Michael Owen will notch up + 10 league goals - I'm hoping for 10 in all competitions. Anything extra will be bonus.
6) Commentators will mention how much we miss Ronaldo and Tevez after failing to score in a high profile match. - Community Shield, when we miss a sitter. You can bet ur house on one of them going, "Oh... Ronaldo would have buried that."
7) United will win a domestic cup with kids. - Milk Cup!
8) Michael Owen will be boo-ed at Anfield - As will Tevez in Old Trafford most likely, or Adebayor and Toure at the Emirates. City games will be loud smile.gif
9) Giggs and Neville will sign ANOTHER contract extension while Scholes joins Oldham. - Giggs yes. Neville maybe not. Scholesy to score a screamer in a big game at the tail end. He scores goals galore, he scores goals.

General football related:
1) Marca will 'reveal' that Madrid teammates are frustrated at Ronaldo's selfishness - Ronaldo will no longer need to say "I'm very confidence" to the media.
2) Arsenal will finish above Liverpool *(if Alonso does leave) - Depends on who beats United twice.
3) Newcastle sacks another manager - Has Shearer even been sacked yet? The spirit of Sir Bobby will lift them back up.
4) Carlos Tevez will sit on the bench at least 7 games throughout the course of the league season - But wouldn't say a word.
5) Michael Owen will get called up by England National Team - If he stays fit.
6) England will get knocked out by penalties. - In the quarter finals. smile.gif
7) Both United and Madrid do not make it pass the semi finals of Champions League - All Italian final?
8) Inter to face Barca at the finals of the Champions League. - See above.
9) Quieroz gets the sack. - And returns to assist Sir Alex
10) Manchester City finishes below Everton - And Villa
11) One ex-Tottenham player will rejoin Tottenham. - Carrick? O.o
12) The England National Team will include at least 2 players who have less than 10 caps (possibly Welbeck and Wilshere or Foster) - And not use them at all.
13) Almunia will openly reveal that he wouldn't mind playing for England....again. - But Capello doesn't bother to comment.
14) One player will reveal how he rejected City's approaches. - And say that money is not his main motivation, before signing an improved deal at his current club.

If he plays like last season (or even preseason. Did you guys see that last minute goal against atletico? Phenomenal), definitely. At less than 20m, he was best signing for last season. And I'm a Liverpool fan. cool2.gif

Liverpool - Midfield might suffer when Macherano injure after Alonso departure
Chelsea - still as a strong contender, potential problem still lie on Ancelotti
Arsenal - still need to strengthen defense, no doubt Arshavin is man to watch this season

Champions League will be fight between La Liga and BPL team

Manchester United will not win the EPL this season.
Manchester City will not break top 4 this season.
Chelsea Will need some more decent signing to be true contender for the title.
Liverpool will win the EPL,if Alonso and Mascherano somehow did not leave.
Lyon will win Ligue 1 france by a big margin.
Inter Milan will somehow win the Serie A title, after close battle with Juvents.
Real Madrid will not win anything this season, despite they made big signings.
Barcelona will still win the Primera División,after close battle with Real Madrid.
Some club from England will win the UEFA Champions League, while some clubs from Spain will win the 1st Europa League.
Owen will be the best signing of the season, while Ronaldo and any player bought by Man City will be the worst signing of the season.
Tevez will start complain and complain and complain again and again after a series of defeats by Man city, demanding a move from City at the end of the season.
Barcelona will not win the World Club Cup.

This is only prediction,so don't be mad. icon_rolleyes.gif icon_rolleyes.gif
