Now I'm getting all mixed up with the Sony Series...haha..see like everyone is using S,T,V,W,X,Z now..

ohh...so it is coming in to m'sia...how bout V series? 50in?

Looking forward for 65" V series.

The TH-P50V10 is a replacement model for Panasonic flagship Viera TH-50PY850 which had a lifespan less than 9 months in Malaysia. Currently it is going cheap in SINGAPORE (>S$4000) and not avaliable in Malaysia. WHY??

I had spoken to Pana Malaysia staff so called "Customer Care Centre" they can't even answer me.

Wanted to get the TH-50PY850 but they can't even help

Now had to wait for the V series......

NO 50" V SERIES FOR MALAYSIA MARKET

The V and Z1 models are not for MALAYSIA market; they don’t intend to release it here.. It is just for advertising purpose. If only you are really interested then you have to pay a down payment and they will indent them in for you. Waiting time up to 3 months… I ‘m VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED with PANASONIC as it treat MALAYSIA market as a 3 Class compared to Singapore. Singapore has their 50” V & G series. Non of their Neo Plasma series is in Malaysia.

If the excuse is that they can’t sell, what about SONY; Samsung and other high end product brand? They have the whole range from S to X series: 3 to 9 series in Malaysia . The choice is with the COSUMER; it is part of corporate responsibility and value the LOCAL market.
It became personal as I waited for their 50” V series for 2 years since I last view it in Akihabara, Japan. It came to Singapore recently but will not be in Malaysia. While PANA Malaysia keep harboring it in their advertisement, how advance is the neo-plasma feature ..blar-blar in their brochure and net.

They are trying to cheat the not-so-inform consumer by putting the neo-plasma features in their low-end product advert with small fine print at the back of the brochure “ only in V,G & Z1 series”.

huh....Panasonic recently had a road show in Bangsar Village...both the V & Z series was on display....but the price is too high for me lah...other bros out her i dont know.....for V series....Pana only bring in 65inch...selling for rm 30k (if i still remember correctly) and the Z series is 54inch ann selling for rm 20k ++++....the road show will end this Sunday...so for those whom really interested...pls go and see lah....

They should have the 50" V series TH-P50V11 in Malaysia as in Singapore. The Singapore unit is with Digital TV reciever, only selling for S$4000.

The price for 50" V is more acceptable for Malaysia market around 10K++ as can be compared to the Samsung LCD/LED 7000 or 8000 series and SONY 50Z550 series.

The Z1 series is too high priced for most Malaysian. Why not bring down the 50V NeoPDP to Malaysia as a replacement Model for TH-50PY850, I sure it will sell well. I will be the first to get it...

Panasonic TV promotion in Singapore with the new 50V11

If you like it, why not order and wait, they will still honour the warranty, and it seems to be pretty much something that u want. Go for it.

If interested, also can consider Hong Kong version of Plasma V series. Their design similar like Z series plus got THX bo. Of course how to bring it back to Malaysia is another issue.

Update: I saw 65v10 is priced at RM39,999 at BEST today.

So for malaysia market their targeting people that can spend RM40k TV rather than ~10k tv (50V)?
Im getting samsung 650 than....

any shops in kl dare to sell 50v11?

P50V11 is not available in malaysia, panasonic never bring it in.
