@jchue73: On second thought, I might not be going for the CMC just yet. I'm looking at this awesome Enzo by BBR and I am definitely tempted. smile.gif I'm planning on the F430 Spider and Challenge from BBR too. Any advice on which to get first? I was thinking of getting all of them but bringing them all back to Malaysia will be a huge headache... sweat.gif

This just came in today, bought it on impulse but still quite happy over the details and quality of it.

By the way, anyone here knows where to get the Mercedes SL(the one prior to the facelift) from Minichamps? I suddenly have the urge to put it in my car. The thought of a 1:18 in a 1:1 is so.... interesting.. sweat.gif

@Ericmaxman: I only bring the car out for breakfast on weekends and dinner sometimes so I'm not so much worried about the sun. Thanks for the advice though, I appreciate it smile.gif.

Help.. Enzo normal edition or Schumi Edition with F1 paint and gun grey rims? Need some suggestions here. Thanks!

@Jasonist: It's the one before the facelift.

@Myke: What are the 3 new releases? Are they any different from the Enzos now or are they just remakes of the old models? Yea, I'm referring to BBR by the way.

@Jasonist: Nice BMW there, I like how they modified the car so ferociously, since the original design resembles a shark.

@Hokuan: Is that a limited edition PT Cruiser there? Wow.

Arrived yesterday. smile.gif

The white dots are actually from the styrofoam box, haven't had a proper clean up yet.

@Hokuan: Gratz on your hauls. Awesome Viper. It's from BBR, took me quite some time and effort to track down this.

@Jasonist: Haha, I always thought it looked like one, what with the grill and the fog lights, well the normal ones anyway because we couldn't get ahold of the race car version. Gratz on the haul too.

@Saru88: Thanks! 1:12 Enzo? Too bad it's so far away... sad.gif

@Myke: No, I was using my trusty ol' Sony T200. Yea, I had to since this is brand new and the price was still reasonable. I was going to buy the Schumi version but the price was going upwards of USD400.

@Jchue73: Yea, two of the same color. Well, the Enzo's not a limited one in the manufacturer's sense but it seems like one in the market nowadays, if you know what I mean. There are a lot of limited edition diecast cars that are still available out there brand new, for example your yellow test version of the Enzo, which is being sold less than that of the price I paid for my non limited Enzo. But I did browse around, all I could find was either your variation (around USD300) on Ebay or the Schumi one for the price upwads of USD400. It took me quite awhile to find mine and secure it because I was being picky and I specifically wanted a brand new one. So my perception is that this Enzo is just as limited as any other limited edition diecast cars out there. I think this is a fact that most of the diecast car collectors here can come to a consensus with. smile.gif

Love your collection by the way. Haha smile.gif

@Jchue73: In my opinion (no intention to offense anyone here, seriously), BBR and Hotwheels Super Elite are standing at different places in the market at the moment. BBR has long established its brand name in the diecast market, whereby when one collector sees one of it, they be able to recognize the exclusivity of the brand. Hotwheels, on the other hand, just got involved in manufacturing higher end diecast not long ago. Hence, their strategy to serialize each of their limited edition model. It's all part of their business strategy to attract more of the collectors to buy their slightly differentiated products. Once Hotwheels Super Elite has a reputable enough name and widely known and recognized brand product quality, the serializing will prove not as important for them as it is right now. By saying this, I have no intention of judging anyone's precious collections, I recognize the effort and hard work spent doing so, I guess it all comes down to preference where at the moment, BBR has an advantage (not price-wise of course). Glad to have a friendly debate sometimes and to know that people are open to opinions. All aside, I can see that you have some great models too, I especially like the Mercedes CLK GTR Hehe.

@Myke: Sorry for the late reply, yea, I might let go but I'm afraid there's someone before you that I promised to contact first if I were to let it off but I'll notice you about it too. smile.gif

Did I hear someone mention something about getting his R35? Hehe whistling.gif

Took this real quick.

@Masterlaoda: It's from Autoart, are you starting this as a new hobby? Hehe, diecasting is many a joyous thing.

@Myke: Added regarding R35: Resistance is futile!

@Hokuan: Thanks for the compliment!

@Jasonist: I feel kinda stupid now going for that line of diecast, haha, but I was young and foolish then.

@Masterlaoda: Welcome to the club smile.gif

@Quiksilve: I have shaky hands, no confidence at all in customizing, yet sweat.gif

@Masterlaoda: I don't know if this is a club. What I meant was welcome to the world of diecast collecting. Haha, I think you misunderstood. But yea, I think there are younger members in this thread, I'm not sure.

@Jasonist: I'm a bit confused here. It is from AA. What are you talking about? sweat.gif haha

Oh, the Mercedes hey? Silly me. Haha, those are the only ones I could find back then. I live in a small town. smile.gif

@Jasonist: It was taken in K.L., there are a few decent cars back in Miri, 3 F430s, 2 Bentley Continental GTs if I'm not mistaken and one Lamborghini Gallardo LP-560. A few Mercs. SL but that was last year's news and 1 or 2 GTRs I can't remember.
