jchue73: Thanks. Yup, both are from Ebbro, I'm also waiting for the 1/18th one from Autoart. But I think we wont be expecting any opening features from it.... sad.gif
Besides that, I also have the Nissan R92CP from Ebbro as well.

royjepun: The one from GT4 is the Toyota 88C-V which performed better back then in those group C days. This one managed to only finished 12th at the most.... Still I love all Group C cars regardless of their performance. thumbup.gif

Anyway, just arrived today. royjepun, I'm sure this may look familiar to you smile.gif

mirage-rs: GE FABBRI? Is that a scale car brand name?

royjepun: Here's the R92CP:

Just want to know. Has anyone's orders here ever got detained by the customs? And if yes, how much was the item's cost?

jchue73: Thanks for the tip, but I hope and pray that my stuff won't get detained by the customs at all. Plus, the seller said to me that he can declare the package as a gift and low custom. I think that will greatly reduce the chances of the item being detained.

By the way, awesome Koenigsegg CCX. thumbup.gif

jchue73: The item is from the US and it is going to be shipped by USPS priority international mail. But the item is more than RM500...... sad.gif

A little bit more than RM 500 is fine. If it's closer than RM 1000, perhaps it's a problem.

Anyway, as long as the seller agrees to declare the item and put it on proforma invoice that the items are less than equivalent RM 500, I don't see it as a problem. Especially since the USPS Priority International will be handled by Pos Malaysia. They are less fussy.

Well, I see. Thanks for explaining thoroughly. I shall ask the seller to cooperate with me then

mirage-rs: Thanks, love those cars. I plan to collect more, but those type of cars are always so pricey. sweat.gif

mirage-rs: Most probably, but its also because expensive brands mainly produce those type of cars. Anyways there are not many of those cars in 1/18.

jay8393: All of the newer Exoto models have detachable wheels. But some models brake discs are made out of plastic, bu this one is made of metal

Exoto produces 2 Group C cars only, the Sauber C9 and the Nissan R89C, I've made a list of all the Group C cars after looking on the internet, and there's not much Group C cars in 1/18:

Here's the list (With the brands):

1) Mazda 787B (Autoart)
2) Sauber Mercedes C9 (Exoto)
3) Nissan R89C (Exoto)
4) Jaguar XJR9-LM (Exoto Motorbox)
5) Porsche 956L (Minichamps)
6) Porsche 962 (Universal Hobbies)
7) Peugeot 905 (Norev)
8) Mazda RX7 Group C (Biante)

Haha, I think I'll just aim for the Nissan R89C, the peugeot 905 and the Mazda RX7 biggrin.gif The R89C is definitely going to be a pain for me to get. sweat.gif

jchue73: Thanks for the compliment. Its great to have another Group C fan thumbup.gif . Anyways the Mazda 787B is rare on ebay now. Like I said before, you can try Yahoo JP, but I'm not sure now whether they still have the ones up for auction. You can still check it occasionally though.

royjepun: Hi, not at the moment. The Sauber C9 is my latest one. This year I want to aim for the 1/18 Citroen GT by Norev which will come out soon. biggrin.gif That will be my priority.

Btw, nice NSX which has an openable engine cover! thumbup.gif

royjepun: Yup, the Sauber C9 is by Exoto. It costs more than the Exoto Nissan R89C, unbelievable. sweat.gif Its because of its rarity I suppose....

jchue73: Yup, I'm definitely sure, I had to pay for the C9 more than it costs an R89C because the C9's stock is low now. Anyways I didn't bid for the C9, instead I bought it with 'Buy it now'. So its even more freaking expensive sweat.gif.

But in terms of bidding, people would bid the C9 depending the model's livery, if its the 'Silver Arrow' livery like mine, people will bid even more than the Nissan R89C, especially if its the #63 Le Mans Winner. Mine is the #61 which scored 2nd in Le Mans, so it'll be slightly cheaper

jchue73: Great, You're gonna have a Sauber C9 as well thumbup.gif Your livery will come with a 'Sprint' configuration spoiler. But I heard from a review that because of the spoiler, it'll be a bit difficult to attach and detach the engine cover.
