@Leroy87: But no LED headlights for the DEs right? I love the headlights...

Hobby edition for me then biggrin.gif, after the finals sad.gif.

@Lkwanz: Do you have more shots of the headlights? Would love to see them.

@Lkwanz: Thanks for the pictures, definitely an add to my collection. Is the older one from Maisto?

@Valcrist: I've got a reply from the seller, and here are his prices, including shipping.

1/18 BBR F430 Spider Rosso Corsa HE180006 - USD$349 (Red with tan soft top, challenge rims and bucket seats)

1/18 BBR F430 Spider White HE180027 - USD$349 (White with black soft top, challenge rims and bucket seats)

1/18 BBR F430 Coupe F1 Red HESP005A - USD$349 (Normal rims, normal seats)

These are the cheapest prices he could get me for the three items above. The ones mentioned before remain the same. According to him, these are the last few models available.

The one on the left is the red spider(HE180006), the two identical ones are the f1 red coupe (HESP005A).

Again, let me know if you are interested. smile.gif

@Leroy87: Nice looking Enzo. Is the driver side side-mrror longer than the one on the passenger's side?

@Chan27: All I see now is the 60th anniversary edition of the enzo from Hotwheels... so unless you're satisfied with one of those, I suggest Ebay. Good luck looking for one.

@Leroy87: Thanks for clarifying, very nice model indeed. If I'm not mistaken, the 1:1 Enzo has a longer side mirror on the driver's side.

@Valcrist: My guess is that the red ones are getting scarce and that the seller had to pay a bit more to get it stocked... I would love to buy the white one but I think it's a bit excessive since I already have one. Stunning Enzo, love the colour and the rims biggrin.gif

@Jackygwh: First edition Enzo from BBR? I have one too, absolute stunner biggrin.gif Send it too me I'll clean it for you.. Hahaha

With my recent purchases, Lkwanz and Leroy87's devious tempting efforts, the announcement of the Mclaren f1 and probably pulling the trigger on a ccx tomorrow, I'd really have to end up living on bread this week sweat.gif

@Lkwanz: Yeap, finally out. The Mclaren F1 I think somewhere around September to October, can't wait thumbup.gif

@Jackygwh: Sure, haha, just send it here and I'll get it sparkling clean. All you have to do is send it. brows.gif

If you're bulking I want in smile.gif But I'll be back only a few times a year, so how should we deal with the payments and postage?

@Jackygwh: Saw it up for pre-order on a website for less that USD$170 before shipping...

@Valcrist: I suppose, if you like it enough. From what I see, for now, the prices wouldn't be changing, even more so for the future because BBR will no longer produce diecasts (from what I've heard). Even the 458 from BBR is now resin sad.gif But if you are serious about it, why not the silver or black one? The silver one stands out more and the black one is gorgeous, but if you like grey then go for it biggrin.gif

@Leroy87: Quite troublesome here, 40 minutes drive to the closest hobby shops, the ones in the city offer very, very limited choices... Yea, the Mclaren looks great, too bad I'm a sucker for supercars and exotics, totally no resistance... doh.gif

@Chan27: Perhaps give BBR a try? A choice you will not regret smile.gif

Missed out on the CCX, woke up late, damn Ebay and its ungodly bid-ending hours... vmad.gif

@Leroy87: Already found it, but ends really early and no buy it now option... Probably not gonna seep that night.

@Valexllea: I just noticed your sales thread, prices are quite attractive, might I suggest more recently released models? Good luck with your sales by the way. smile.gif

I have two HPI models and I think they offer great detail for what I'm paying. It's detail relative to the size is comparable to that of Exoto's.

Here are some examples of one of my model.

@Jackygwh: Yeap, the Mclaren, I forgot which site it was, I'll check my history when I get home. I'm talking about the orange CCX by Autoart, Ebay's prices are still ok. I usually use Ebay.com.au mainly because I spend most of my time in Australia. About the no shipping to Malaysia thing, you can try and contact the seller and request personally, if you have a good reputation (good feedback)/ seller is a nice person, then it is possible.

@Subaru22b: Price ranges from USD$45 to USD$80, depending on the model. I paid USD$75 for mine I think. It all depends on the model. HPI make very good diecasts and at a size that small, the detail to size ratio is comparable to that of Exoto's. Have a look at their website here, awesome collection of Subarus inside smile.gif

@Jackygwh: The website is toronto motorsports, which can be accessed here. There's one catch though, and I feel stupid for not checking before, the shipping rate is almost the same as the price of the model itself... doh.gif

@Vallexlea: I understand it's difficult, I heard that they don't take responsibility for their models, which means the sellers have to replace defected ones at their own expenses. Still, good luck smile.gif

@Advocado: Three colour choices, one confirmed, two pending. They are as follow: Metallic Silver, Metallic Grey, Metallic black.

@Edwardc: You're quite the Mclaren enthusiast apparently laugh.gif The Zonda R was announced together with the Mclaren and the NSX some time ago (around April), I personally like the Zonda F better. The 1:8 replica is from Amalgam and quite frankly is the best scaled down model of a Mclaren F1 in the market. You can see the details on their website (google "Amalgam"), they even have the headphones present in the cockpit. Getting one, however, will set most people back one month's worth of loan payments biggrin.gif

@Edwardc: I think it's a prototype, Autoart's quality is still the same, the difference is that it is not consistent anymore and they are not really standing behind their products.

@Valexllea: What are the defects? I feel sorry for you man..

@Jackygwh: I almost pre-ordered it. Lucky me smile.gif Thing is, I'm worried that once it gets to the shelves it will be sold out before I'm able to get my hands on it...

@Lkwanz: Give in and succumb to the beast that is Mclaren F1 biggrin.gif

Preordered the Mclaren F1 much cheaper than the recommended retail price from HLJ biggrin.gif It was 18200 yen when I ordered. Go now guys, before it ends!

@Vallexlea: So the Reventon is a total loss? The steering can be easily fixed I heard, just take off the undercarriage and reattach the connections between the steering wheel and the wheel axis. Can you post a photo of the front joints? You might as well try fixing it if it's gonna be a total loss smile.gif

@Edwardc: No, the damages are seldom caused by shipping, I believe the paint was because it was just for display (prototype) so don't worry about it too much. There are many more things to worry about over an Autoart than paint issues. On an unrelated matter, I have a 1/43 Mclaren F1 GTR model kit that I have absolutely no idea of assembling sad.gif Do you do model kits?

@Lkwanz: Hope it comes in one piece, literally. Haha. biggrin.gif Really excited though, when it arrives I'm going to bust open my 1/12 and try some light modifications...

@Lkwanz: I think it's resin. I'll take a photo after I finish my assignment (a few million words to go) and post it up. There are two parts that I couldn't figure out where to fit...

@Vallexlea: Yea, Autoart has been too comfortable at making easy profits off their customers lately. QC issues all around, sucks man. How's the damage to the front joints like? And I absolutely agree, shipping damage is the least of our worries.

@Lasha: Lovely models, especially the CLS biggrin.gif Feels like running on air when it's on the road, quiet, powerful and very responsive steering. Superb choice smile.gif
