MasterLaoDa : nice BMW M3 coupe there, i nearly bought one too a few weeks back...will try to catch one sometime in the future

jchue73: Wow another SL65 AMG in silver that's nice. And congrats in getting your Mclaren F1 GTR in papaya orange. This are really rare items to find and get. I'm hoping to get one too soon.

jchue73: I will pass on the SL 65 this time. I'm hunting for the orange papaya beauty which I have been looking for 2-3months now.

I was on holiday in Tokyo Odaiba just last week and I stumbled across a huge diecast shop at Venus Fort Shopping mall. This diecast shop was inside a garage museum which stores some pretty old cars, courtesy of Toyota. The museum is also known as Toyota History Museum. If you're ever in Tokyo and have time to kill u can visit this place. For more info visit this site. This is one of the biggest diecast shops I've ever seen to date and honestly this was one of the most interesting place I visited while in Japan, the best thing of all I stumbled across it without ever researching on it. rclxm9.gif

QUOTE(jchue73 @ Jan 12 2010, 07:47 PM)
khsj: Whoa... You went to Japan? Those pics are like from diecast heaven. laugh.gif Yes, they are really huge in comparison to shops in Hong Kong. Must be really super experience.

What did you get? Nissan R34 Ztune? biggrin.gif

Finally, these two arrived today. drool.gif

Waiting for another. Arrived earlier at Kastam last Saturday but don't know why stuck. Whereas these two arrived in Kastams last Sunday. Perhaps Pos Malaysia practices FILO (First In Last Out) policy. whistling.gif

jchue73: Nolah didn't get any Nissan. The Nissan's were quite expensive for my taste. Got something else.... icon_rolleyes.gif But honestly it was a super duper experience.

I also had the pleasure of visiting Taiwan during my vacation and found another diecast shop as well, it's not as big as the one in Japan but there were lots to see drool.gif . Thanks to diecastexchange which provided the directions to this shop.

If you're going to Taipei and planning to hunt for some diecast, this will be the place. See this site for more INFO

jasonist: haha my reveal isn't something rare...quite common actually...was on budget and couldn't buy something rare, besides I couldn't carry back too many cars, you know lah how big the car is with the box. It wouldn't fit into our bag, some more have to carry to so many places.

v26davk: M3 for RM319, that's pretty cheap...where is this BTS 4th floor?

khsj: : rclxms.gif Great job....nice and excellent haul...you know lar i'm a Subaru freak.... tongue.gif
You should get the blue one too...i got it but not yet post hehehheeee... brows.gif
By the way...great haul too to your others collections... thumbup.gif

subaru22b: yup actually was thinking of getting the sunstar subaru WRC with full livery but at the end decided on the AA subaru plain white version. Later in the year will get the sunstar version. But one factor that made me decide on the AA is the nicer rims compared to the sunstar version. One of the sunstar versions has nice rims but is the night version which wasn't really my taste with the big head lamps at the front. Here are the pics of the subaru models for comparison.

With smaller rims....

jasonist: Welcome back hope to see more pictures from you to share to all of us.

myke: No worries there will surely be one out there for you to haul in....

Howard: that's one cool Mclaren..hoping to haul in one too...one day. whistling.gif

For those guessing the package from Holland it is an Orange Papaya....finally got it rclxm9.gif

So indeed Mclaren is the model of the month. thumbup.gif

It won't be dead coz eventually someone will buy a diecast car and post it up here. Also this hobby is slow because as all of u know in Malaysia it is hard to find diecast cars here also it is not like everyday we can buy a diecast car unless you are very rich. So while waiting for a newly bought car to be posted up here why not we just share our collection.

Yes totally agree toycity is a killer....better to get from eBay still cheaper and eBay has more choices.
