Jchue73: I'm glad your long awaited Parcel finally reached you! rclxms.gif ... Phew! A BIG relief indeed! Yeap! I agree with you, if you ship via USPS Priority Mail International, your Parcel only left US on the fourth day. Then when It reaches Malaysia, takes another 2 days to send to you. While the Germany shipping time also very unpredictable. Recalled, last year my parcel frm Germany reached me after 21 days. I thought it was lost (worth more than RM300)... then one morning, post officer call me... I was overjoy till I took half day leave to go pick them up immediately...

WoW! you got that Schumi FXX too drool.gif .... Aiyo! my collection just Ikan bilis if compare to yours... Tai Ko! do take some your overall collection photos and share to us.. I'm sure those models you got there will inspiring us to go for more... doh.gif

Oh well, that joker send me a loser! then I ask him for full refund... what to do... need to look for other source...

Myke: No worries! I think Kyosho will release the GT-R Spec-V first (Nismo?)...

Jason: Do update us your status there when mission accomplished there...

British car...
British sponsor...

It makes thing more meaningful if the model ship from UK (like buying the real Aston Martin)...

Tai kor, what do you mean I'm going to join the 009 bandwagon soon? I've already joined ! biggrin.gif
No hard feeling ok! what I mean "bandwagon" here is those who already post their AMR 2008 #009 in this thread... that's all... Wow! you bought 2 DBR9... one of them is prodrive version... that's awesome! sweat.gif

I would have guess you know the #8 by follow the DBR9 photo link to my photobucket a/c... very clever! Indeed I've posted them in sgdc & diecastxchange... maybe next time I'll post them concurrently, to avoid information leakage doh.gif ...

Now I'm only concentrating picking up Spark, Minichamps & limited number of Ebbro models... will completely halt buying other brands - no space man. Got to think for long term man - furthermore, Spark models are built with quality in mind!

ok! AMR fever is here...

Car was built and developed by British Car maker - Aston Martin Racing
British Sponsor - Gulf Oil
The only British Driver in the AMR team- Darren Turner

To be honest... I'm paying RM270 for the word "D. Turner"... If Darren Turner was driving the #007 car... I would have bought that model too...

Aurion: You are 99% close ... That missing 1% should have easily grabbed - If you move the cars further from the building (esp the staircase)... so the cars are proportionate to the building... then I would have thought those cars are real... anyway it's an excellent effort... thumbup.gif

Hey! bro, this thread is all about realistic diecast... We all pay good money to get those expensive gem here. Therefore we need to protect the image of this hobby. Please spam your 1/64 elsewhere!

Jchue73: Cheer up mate! Don't need to feel sore about getting a pair of CL65 AMG... you should feel lucky to that you afford two in 1 purchase drool.gif ... Now, I got itchy to get one of those in smaller scale doh.gif

Well, talking abt lansi! I saw you more lansi in Tomica & HW thread... If not mistaken you challenge somebody of posting sales items over at Tomica recently... how abt that? Wei! if you claim that we here collecting lousy diecast... think again.. do you any good diecast to show here??? I don't want to argue with kid who don't know how to appreciate adult diecast. Well, I thought you trying to advice other forumers to compare price with ebay? well, you are just too naive.... do you ever buy from ebay? do you have any credit card? Do you know how credit provider handle exchange rate?
What a shame to have such nasty KL diecaster here...

Then what is the difference between this thread and HW & Tomica? Why should we follow the rules?
Come do post your tomica and HW here, loser! doh.gif

Hey! Mr. administrator, please banned this user from posting here before our Mr. Smart "Kurz" turn it into junk yard!

Added on November 7, 2009, 8:07 pmTai Ko! Please make this thread clean. Forumer like Kurz shouldn't allow to post here... Follow tradition frm Thread 1. Diecast collections is about collecting realistic model car. Please remove him here and write a warning note right after his post so that this thread is clean. That's why we all here. Thanks!

Well, Mr. Kurz... You are just one of those ppl who good in arguing... What do you mean my AXX... I hope you won't lost yours one day... You may got the respect in HW or Tomica... Well, now u are nothing when you enter diecast world... stay away man! you don't even have any realistic model to show here... pls go and save some money and bid again from ebay! I hope you don Axx the sellers...

Ok! for all other discaster here (except that KURZ), I respect all of you here... what I'm trying to emphasize here is... since there are tomica and HW (which allow to post any sort of 1:64 model there) threads around. I urge you to share those fantastic diecast over the specific thread... I hope it's all clear now...

If you are to compare world class diecast forum, like SGDC & diecastxchange, those collector don't accept combination of scale under one root (one thread - unless is from personal showcase)... So maybe lowyat should apply the same.

Hokuan: 50% 50% for me, since Tomica has their own thread, pls post there man. Ok! the basic guideline we all diecaster should accept is, the age range indicator. For HW example, it states clearly that for children above 3+, for Adult diecast it states NOT suitable for children below 14 years old. So that's the baseline for me.

rokiroad: Not really, if you refer to redline or spark 1:87, it looks more realistic compare to those 1:64 JADA/ HW. Take Kyosho 1:64 for example, it
looks lot realistic compare to JADA. Therefore small doesn't mean unrealistic.

rckh: Thanks for the link, btw you frm Brunei? At lease I meet some real diecasters (compare to those who know how to talk but own nothing).

My advice to the administrator. Please set a clear rules before you start any future threads. I would recommend hardcore diecasters to lead the thread... Aurion, Myke, Jasonist or even Jchue73.

Well, since this place doesn't belong to realistic diecaster I guess I would like to make this post my final at lowyat (- mainly due to time constraint also. Plus there are diecast shops asking for help to write review on their upcoming models - earn some pocket money too). And with that I would like to thanks all the great diecasters here for their priceless advices and tips : Jasonist, Myke, Aurion, Baronzemo and others (too much to mention here)...
I'll continue to spend BIG (don't compare to tai ko Jchue73 - he's exceptional). I'll find time to share them via my blog. Thanks again mate. God bless you all.

Myke: It's time to form an diecast alliance blogs rather than posting here at LYN... You know what I mean, don't you? biggrin.gif ... I hope you, Aurion, Jchue73 and other hardcore collectors will join Jasonist and myself soon... To share to the world we are not collecting rubbish (quoted from Kurz)... Don't waste our time arguing with those kids who know nothing about these gems... So we deserve a proper cyberspace to share our passion for diecast collection. Like Jasonist said: LYN is no longer the true real diecast thread like it used to be. I can no longer find any appreciation on diecast cars and members are not willing to share their views and experiences regarding any diecast issues. As a result, many great diecasters have left the building and seek for other online diecast sources and forums.

Why our tai ko Spikey left? So don't waste time to post here.. come join us now!!!
