@Jasonist: Nice BMW there, I like how they modified the car so ferociously, since the original design resembles a shark.

@Hokuan: Is that a limited edition PT Cruiser there? Wow.

Arrived yesterday. smile.gif

The white dots are actually from the styrofoam box, haven't had a proper clean up yet.

saru88: haha still not for now... black seems ok too mah... tongue.gif

Howard Tan: i tot the Z4 looks kind... never thought it resembles a shark LOL... i would prefer the race car version than the original one coz the stock version looks tame... the new Z4 looks better, juz hope there will be M for the new Z4 as well... then we will see if Kyosho gonna do some magic onot... BBR Enzo... no doubt its one of a kind masterpiece collectible!

aurion: nais... i wonder if paint the wheels to black, will it look nicer? hmm.gif

myke: thanks mate! yea i do hope can bring this to Albert Park one day... however, it takes time to unscrew the car and screw it back later after the photoshoot... gonna take huge effort le... biggrin.gif yea, the dark wheel F430 certainly looks like a beast... the color of the wheels really define the car whether it looks fierce onot... i started to like cars with dark wheels liao... drool.gif

Z4 shots go on n on n on... sweat.gif

@Hokuan: Gratz on your hauls. Awesome Viper. It's from BBR, took me quite some time and effort to track down this.

@Jasonist: Haha, I always thought it looked like one, what with the grill and the fog lights, well the normal ones anyway because we couldn't get ahold of the race car version. Gratz on the haul too.

@Saru88: Thanks! 1:12 Enzo? Too bad it's so far away... sad.gif

@Myke: No, I was using my trusty ol' Sony T200. Yea, I had to since this is brand new and the price was still reasonable. I was going to buy the Schumi version but the price was going upwards of USD400.

Jasonist: Wah, Z4 poison ! Aiyoh, the base spoil only. Don't know when mine will come. sad.gif

Anyway, just some comments. Usually, when dealing with high dynamic range scenes (bright background and subject in the shade), you would want to use a flash (yes, flash during daytime) to overcome the bright background. The scene is even more difficult when you deal with a white subject.

tiensheng: Congrats on the R35 ! Looks like the new one has some additional decals on the top of the car. I believe the plastic casing with the signature is the same yours.

Well, your aquisition prompted me to do some serious experimental shoots a few nights ago. Some shots to share;

hokuan: Congrats on your haul ! Mind sharing what you got? biggrin.gif Nice outdoor Citroen shots. More realistic if you sling mud on the car. laugh.gif Postman looks like not working for me since no package from Friday. But this came in for me yesterday...

user posted image

Today, this small one came in from UK. sad.gif I guess that the reason why this one took so long to come.

Luckily the car and casing inside were not damaged.

aurion: Congrats on the beamer. Is that Kyosho? The interior looks good and looks like very well made but the exterior looks like there is some problems with the fitting and alignment of the lights / side doors. Wah, you also have a lot of oldie goldies. smile.gif

Howard Tan: Congrats on the BBR Enzo. Looks like the normal one? I believe that one is not produced in limited quantities like the others. Great group shot there. You have two BBR F430 of the same colour? Here's a quickie group shot I did when I got the F50.

F60, F50 and F40 (Left to Right)

DesmondC: Great mod on the Tofu car. Looks good. myke looks like a good modder from the stuff he has posted. Lucky for you that you have him to help you.

So what's in yesterday's two packages? drool.gif

@Jchue73: Yea, two of the same color. Well, the Enzo's not a limited one in the manufacturer's sense but it seems like one in the market nowadays, if you know what I mean. There are a lot of limited edition diecast cars that are still available out there brand new, for example your yellow test version of the Enzo, which is being sold less than that of the price I paid for my non limited Enzo. But I did browse around, all I could find was either your variation (around USD300) on Ebay or the Schumi one for the price upwads of USD400. It took me quite awhile to find mine and secure it because I was being picky and I specifically wanted a brand new one. So my perception is that this Enzo is just as limited as any other limited edition diecast cars out there. I think this is a fact that most of the diecast car collectors here can come to a consensus with. smile.gif

Love your collection by the way. Haha smile.gif
