myke: No doubt the Minichamps or the Autoart version would be superior than the UT / PMA versions. But the thing is would it be affordable? Secondly, I heard that only limited versions of the McLaren F1 cars would be reproduced. Don't think the Papaya Orange would be one of them. You still need to rely on UT for some of the Le Mans liveries that would not be produced by Minichamps / Autoart.

khsj: Only 1 hour in the diecast shop? cry.gif You have lots of self control. laugh.gif

Say am I tempting you again with the recent item received? drool.gif

v26davk: Nice list of cars you have there. Whoa... A Veyron? What colour? Production version or showcar?

Heheh, let's say I have eyes lah. Stock just arrived today if I'm not wrong. Go and call them to book it. brows.gif

leroy87: It's easy to find Papaya Orange. It's only a matter of $$$, cry.gif

Ok, some photos to spam...

Blaze Dragon_89: Thanks. My Group C collection is no where compared to yours. notworthy.gif Anyway, I believe Howard Tan also got a C9 test car in 1/43 scale by HPI. My plan now is to find a 1/43 scale of the 1988 AEG car by HPI.

Not quite the exact car but close enough...

khsj: Great collection there. The silver Z4 looks good. Wah, the all white Subaru also looks chun. thumbup.gif

What's in the package from Holland? Oh, nice Canon 450D BTW. biggrin.gif

Jasonist: Welcome back. You've come from a place that was relatively easy to get diecast to a place where it is quite impossible to get diecast. laugh.gif So yeah, you're quite limited to BTS at the moment. sad.gif

Great tips and sharing with regards to ferrying your diecast. One thing I did not do was to bubble wrap my stuff when I hand carried it on board the plane. Because of that, one of the boxes was a little dented. sad.gif

royjepun: Thanks. The Exoto really gives a lot of satisfaction but it's currently one of the more expensive ones in my current collection. cry.gif

myke: Leave one for you? Hell no ! laugh.gif I'm a McLaren nut. Muahahaha...

Those curious on which McLaren F1 GTR that Minichamps is going to reproduce, here they are...

McLaren F1 GTR (Kokusai Kaihatsu Racing - #001R chassis) - 1st Le Mans 1995 - #59 1:18
McLaren F1 GTR (Gulf Team Davidoff McLaren - #020R chassis) - 2nd Le Mans 1997 - #41 1:18
McLaren F1 GTR (Gulf Team Davidoff McLaren - #025R chassis) - Le Mans 1997 - #39 1:18
McLaren F1 GTR (Team Lark McLaren - #027R chassis) - Le Mans 1997 (Lark) - #44 1:18

khsj: Whoa... notworthy.gif You got the Papaya Orange with the antena. Very unique. Great F430 too. Is that one Super Elite version?

Blaze Dragon_89: Yeah. HPI Group C cars have fantastic details. It's one of my favourites. Here's a group shot of my Mazda 787B cars. The middle one is from Minichamps.

This is my small Porsche 956 collection;

Hoping to get the C9 from HPI...

mirage-rs: Love the bimmers. I yet to get the M3 GTRs from 2005 ADAC. Also, if I'm not wrong, the winner car from the 2005 ADAC was the #1 car.

Anyway I'm only collecting mostly racing bimmers from E46 and above. Sometimes E36 also got lah but depends. Cannot afford to collect the older ones. These are the ones I just recently collected in 1/43 scale.

Oh, just got this E36 M3 GTR from UT too.

lkwanz: The R35 GT-R is still timeless ! Nice shots.

Jasonist: Did I hear CCX? drool.gif Somehow, Takumi's car just does not excite me. wink.gif

cwchua7: I'm not a fan of rally cars but your EVO pics never ceases to amaze me. biggrin.gif

zseto_kreuz: Nice pics of the Diablo SV. They are very rare now to get.

Jackygwh: Congrats on your purchase. Nice car indeed but like what the other have mentioned, it's a little on the high side. Then again the reason why it's high priced is because it's new.

ericmaxman: Which AA cars are of your interest? Racing or street?

MasterLaoDa: Nice red one. Just in time for Chinese New Year. laugh.gif Got the white one when they were selling at 180 plus at that time. cry.gif

royjepun: Wah congrats. Where did you come back from? Jepun? biggrin.gif Aiks... Nice haul. Saw your pics after I posted. The silver S204 is nice and one of the more rare ones amongst all Subaru models.

BTW, this Calsonic R34 came in last week. Thought it got lost. rolleyes.gif

LH_430Scuderia: Oh... Not Papaya Orange again. laugh.gif

Great collection there. I see you have the NSX and R34 test cars. You have a few missing which is the Ford GT LC Spec Test, Lexus SC430 test and the Nissan Fairlady Test car. biggrin.gif

ericmaxman: JDM or European? If high budget, CCX and the Veyron are nice for European. drool.gif Middle budget ones like the new C63 AMG, and the recent Lambos LP560-4 and Superleggeras ae nice too. JDMs like Mitsu Evo, Subarus or even Nissan R34 / R35 are nice too. But then again, they can be very expensive.

Blaze Dragon_89: Indeed the 1/18 Mazda 787B and the 1/18 Porsche 956 will be perfect. cry.gif

khsj: The 1/43 scale stuff was bought a while back. Just didn't show them.

lkwanz: I don't have the Autoart R35. Any reason for asking?

royjepun: That is why some of my cars are still in boxes. cry.gif

Looking forward to the Impreza shootout. biggrin.gif

cwchua7: R34 with openings are too expensive for me. cry.gif
