imo, villa best position is CF, becoz he has good positioning and eye on the balls..
with ibra is almost on his way out, i hope formation for new season is goin to be like i said earlier
pedro - villa - messi rclxms.gif

Again I would like to stress, this is suicidal. Right now we are thin in DM department, why should we throw ourselves into deeper sh!t by depleting our attacking force further?

we dont have trouble at all, can win five game and i think we will draw in the ice box

This time around we'll play at Kazan on MD2, on 29 September, and according to this, it won't be that icy at that time.

BTW, Furia Roja will play more friendly matches in early September right?

If Ibra doesn't go, we have a near perfect team.

must remember, without ibra we dont have enough striker.
bojan? i dont think he good enough to play importants matches.
*
Exactly. Not to mention that all suitable options have been snapped up by other clubs; the only good option left is Mata, but swapping Ibra for Mata? No way.

I don't want to see Iniesta on the left wing anymore. He is wasted there doh.gif doh.gif

QUOTE(leeyawk @ Aug 27 2010, 04:59 PM)
pedro-villa-messi will be our main front three.....if any one of them can't take to the field, iniesta will be pushed up front since macherano is almost a barca player now and can replace iniesta in midfield. Even the combination of pedro-bojan-messi can bring us lots of goals like last season.

BTW, how is macherano going to fit into the first eleven with iniesta - busquet - xavi are certainties in midfield?  hmm.gif
*
He is wasted there. His best position is in the middle. In the past seasons he was forced to play LW, because we were unable to find Henry's replacement. Now we have Villa, who is more than capable to play Henry's role during our treble season, why should we throw away Ibra? Furthermore, Pedro can not play on the left. He is best utilized on the right wing.

QUOTE(solstice818 @ Aug 27 2010, 05:00 PM)
I never know Busquet is an automatic starter
*
He is. Since our win over Chelsea 2 seasons ago. His performance in the final against Man Utd cemented his place further.

How about if Villa is supported by Iniesta and Maxwell, all on the left? brows.gif brows.gif We have a lot of creativity on the left flank too.

Furthermore Villa won't operate on the flank alone, especially when Mawell/Abidal and Iniesta push forward. In that situation he can drift into the middle too.

There are rumors flying around that if Ibra goes, his replacement will be Robinho. When the transfer window is closed?

Gael Etock is too young. He still has a very long way to go.

Well, if he does leave, then I wish him the best of luck, and we have to make do without him. But the worst past is Pep will throw the issue of 'speaking twice in six months' into the closet, shut it once and for all, like the infamous 'feeling'.

Well, speaking only twice in 6 months, that's never sound right, isn't it? But yeah I think the board actually wants that money too, though its kinda weird, that we will only receive the payment at the end of the season.

Are you trying to imply that he didn't get along too well with his teammates?

Like this: 'You have to know that Ibra is like a thorn in between the skin and flesh of your finger. It's painful, has to be taken out and get rid of'?

If yes source please.

"I have no problems with his behaviour in training. He was an example of professionalism at work, but there is a person and that always comes first."[/color]

Then its obvious its not because of personality. He said Ibra showed good professionalism. What else Pep would asked from his personality? Become pious?

IMO its just because he doesn't have the mentality to adapt to our gameplay. He is not bad as a person like what you're trying to made him look like. He got along his teammates really well, and did you watch the celebration in CWC final?

based on ibra's '6 months 2 times speaking' comment, i think it was months before that when they were eliminated by Sevilla in the copa del rey. Pep doesn't like losing and they were winning everything up till then. Well, that's just my assumption biggrin.gif

I've managed to catch Barca B debut in La Segunda. We were playing away at Celta Vigo, and the kids won 2-1.

Have to say that they impressed in their debut, and it is such a good sign of course. The inter-play between the players was totally reminiscence of the first team. And Fontas' goal was the standout goal.

Having said that, I think there are many improvements that should be worked on, if they are gonna survive the season. Defensive play in particular.

1st eleven: Mino, Planas, Fontas©, Bartra, Romeu, Thiago, JDS, Nolito, Soriano, Benja

Couldn't catch the substitutions due to bad conection doh.gif doh.gif

What's worse? The deal is actually consisting of a year loan deal, with Milan having the option to make the move permanent at the end of the season, with mere 24 ME.

As a guy rightly commented in TB; Barca are more than a club - a bloody charity! doh.gif

Don't worry, we won't. Catalans are just too proud of themselves to shut their door to foreigners.
