Slow news eh this thread. Barca news nowadays is all about Cesc.

We still have several issues needed to sort out asap apart from the Cesc saga. 2 of those: We still in talks to renew contracts for 5 of our bright youngsters, who may go away for free this July, and THE ELECTION.

We spoke a lot about youngsters who were poached by other clubs, and about how successful we are with our La Masia products, and suddenly we have several bright youngsters who can potentially walk out of the club for free. The problem now is, we have too many of them (promising youngsters). Now big clubs has started noticing Gerard Deulofeu in the ongoing UEFA U-17 tournament. Oh well

I hope Barca keep Toure as well. But if reports from Sport are true, the chance is reasonably slim, and if the rumored deal of swapping Cesc with him doesn't go through, we may end up with a very unsettled player. Very similar case with Eto'o last summer Luckily Toure is not outspoken as Eto'o.

We can accuse his agent, but have Toure told him to slow down or not? AFAIK, he never say a thing. Don't know what is actually happening here.

   

If we desire a physically imposing DM, we shouldn't have problem to find one. The French have so much of them, but if we want to look for somebody who is as versatile, surely its gonna be difficult. For me Toure's best position is Keita's place and CB, and equally adapt at DM. So by losing him, it'll be a huge loss for us.

After watching Javi Marinez played several games with Spain, I think he has the potential to fit into our team, but he will take very much time just to learn, something that Barca fans are not willing to give nowadays.

Surprised when I saw Efrain Juarez played for Mexico. He played for Barca's B team several years ago, but he didn't perform well for us. Dos Santos' performance last night was very good, he is a very talented lad. Maybe Barca can consider taking him back?
