The game is set in Ancient Greece and incorporates mythological creatures and the Greek gods into the world of the game. Players control Nyx, a winged girl, who has befriended Icarus after he flies to her realm in the sky. When Icarus mysteriously disappears, Nyx sets out to find him in the ruined world below. As they progress through the game, players will be given special powers by gods such as Zeus and Eolus which gives them the ability to move objects, manipulate the scenery, control the wind and to cast rays to kill enemies.[3]
As the game tells through simple cinematics with static hand-drawn pieces of art and also via in-game text overlays, you are Nyx, a goddess on a quest to reunite with her beloved friend Icarus. To do so, the winged immortal must fly through ancient Greek ruins, careful to land atop safe platforms, to avoid dangerous flying enemies, to use fire and wind to her advantage, and much more. At its core, NyxQuest is very much a platformer separated by some innovative Wii remote-enhanced tasks and puzzles, not to mention the occasional boss fight. And as I noted, it hums forward at its own, relaxed, contemplative pace, a truth sure to disappoint gamers who would prefer to post their speed runs online or alternatively shoot stuff until their trigger fingers hurt.
Great freaking great game but its so sad it has 12 Levels only. There are ancient artifacts of the gods sprinkled throughout the 12 levels , collect them all and you'll get the 13th level unlocked.
