yups i'm using same method as dis. juz speeding whenever necessary eg like overtaking buses @ lorries.

Else juz maintain from 90-120kph.

BTW why did some of my buddies keep saying dat their 2nd & 3rd generation LC can't pass over 140kph? I'm using the 3rd gen btw(the gold
rim one) and if there's no "wind obstacle" my bike can't up to 160-170kph like dat..

hoho maybe my luck. But its not so easy to get those optimum speed. Depend on wind condition and has to

Some said dat yamaha adjust the CDI to max at 140 oni eh? Maybe due to safety reason.. hmm.gif

BTW any of u guys here already using dis? Any review/comment etc? i planned to put it to my bike oso.

Nvr try Yamalube before? is it any good? And another thing..anyone here using Motul?

I'm using the Motul 5100 Gold for 135LC & Motul 1000/3000 for my EX5. Quite expensive la but for me i can make a lil' sacrifice for my ride tongue.gif

And bout the motul oil...at first i'm using the castrol(with Becks' pic one/Power1). Ok² la but not as 'sedap' as when u use Motul. And i'm travelling
straight from Kuala Kangsar - Kuantan a couple of times in 2008(using EX5). And i'd noticed dat my bike didn't lose power even on
600+-km trip tongue.gif And the "feeling when ur shifting the gear" were quite difference when using Motul.

btw i'm not motul salesman/agent here. juz sharing wif my xperience notworthy.gif

Fixed at my first post. The Motul 5100 i'd use were the Ester one. BTW at my place dis EO cost around rm35-40

Ini kerana minyak Fully syntetic nipis, jadi ia memberi perlindungan dengan sangat PANTAS ke bahagian engine. So Fully syntetic dapat mengatasi masalah ini. Bukan itu saja, Fully synthetic juga tahan terhadap tindak balas kimia dan ini yg menyebabkn ia diggunakan dengan lebih lama daripada minyak biasa.

Bagi aku, aku guna MOTUL 5100 Ester. Tak payah ler beli Motul 3100 Gold or minyak hitam yang lain. Ini kerana Ester special sikit kerana ia mempunyai kemampuan untuk mencuci engin di mana kebanyakan minyak enjin biasa tidak mampu mencucinya.

Kalau gune ester, ko boleh guna tanpa risau sehingga 4000km dan keatas. Kelebihan ester lagi ialah ia mempunyai surface-active bermakna ia bertindak macam magnet. Jadi ia memberi lebih protection mase cold start. Ia juga tak mudah teroksida. Maknanya, boleh ler tukar EO lagi lama. Jika nak biarkan motor ko 6 bulan tak jalan pun, takyah risau...EO tu masih boleh digunakan.

Dibawah nie adalah list-list minyak hitam. List-list ini saya dapat dari kawan-kawan saya yang amat menggemari melihat dan menanalysis kemampuan sesuatu minyak hitam itu.

   1. EO Semi synthetic ( PAO /biasa) = Tuka 2000km
   2. EO semi synthetic ( Ester ) = 2500Km
   3. FUlly synthetic ( PAO/biasa = 3000-3500km
   4. FUlly synthetic ( Ester ) = 4000km
   5. FUlly SYnthetic ( DOuble Ester ) = 5500km+

The point in red above were quite true. When using dis ester oil...sometimes u (maybe out of ur budget etc tongue.gif ) can't change EO
on exact times or on the planned mileage. With dis EO i don't feel any much difference(in riding/engine feel etc) when i'm dragged my bike to change oil (supposedly at 2500km) to 3-3500km. For those who on long distance (I'm riding my bike around 70-80km daily from my home to workplace) everyday why don't give dis EO a try.

yups...the oil filter can change every 2 time EO change. And get the genuine one nod.gif

about ur other question...erm quite difficult to determine which better which not.
But to avoid "fanboyism flame", I said dis base on my experience using both. As i'd already
mention before. I used the castrol power1(rm20+) & then change to motul1000(rm20+)
on my EX5. But i felt my bike perform somewhat a little better when using Motul.
So u decide tongue.gif

I think stock Kriss esp the old 110 ver one can go above 130 with ease. But kriss speedo were
quite "Lite" compare to other kapcai.
Id test with my fren kriss side-by-side. My ex5 showed 110 but his showed 140 oledi

But for a kriss to tapau LC's at 130kph(LC speedo)...dat surely the modded one tongue.gif

15-42? Correct me if i'm wrong but is dat spock setting for pickup? LC standard was 15-39.

I think if u use 15-39/38 maybe u can smoke him back lol tongue.gif
