somewhere few pages back got say how to burn in fast way or using old method. I don't know la. Or u can check your manual, there got say during how many km you cannot exceed the rev throttle, just follow lo.. btw is recommended at least change EO n oil filter twice b4 1000km.. when not 1000km yet pls don't full throttle..
what I did was silly I ride less than 50kmph before 500km haha.. after 500km i ride less than 70kmph.. after 1000km less than 100kmph.. I dunno la. maybe some pro here can teach u hehe or flip back few pages back lo.
*
oh.. ok.. riding 50kmph all the time makes me sleepy.. sweat.gif

eh, change oil n filter twice before 1000km mileage?

QUOTE(blue_decamax @ Dec 11 2009, 08:06 AM)
yup, its normal. if u think it's a bit long, u can cut a bit but not straight cut, cut it like 45 degrees to make the water / petrol waste flow down efficiently
*
i see.. thx for input..

the reason u nid to change EO n OF coz of 'tik sai' err duno how to say that the metal shreds coz of new engine ma. I know some ppl change 3 or 4 times before 1000km. I changed once at 500km and second time at 1000km. Some ppl change at 200, 500, 1000.. but if bo lui then ma change twice lo. Riding under 60 is really teruk. But my previous SS till now still geng.

I got a question to all pros out there. If change new CDI, will my LC make loud noise or it's completely same ? And CDI is not harmful right as long as I keep below red line ? Hmm i wonder what's the redline rpm for LC ?
*
oh.. ok.. my LC gonna hit 200km today.. what oil do you recommend for burn-in stage?

how much the shell rimula R3X??

lately,my engine sound become rough...
why r...the vibration also hi...
*
Shell Rimula R3X retail price at Shell station is RM14.50... Don't be suprised, its actually Heavy Duty Diesel Engine Oil. Same rating with high-end 4T EO but at cheaper price..

maybe your EO viscosity has break down, reached its limit.. time to change new EO...

For more info on Rimula R3X, can read this topic... lots of user already use for over 10 years..

i just bought my bike a month ago.. i mean rough, not smooth like others new lc...this is the first time i change eo..before this, i change at 900km...some mechanics say its normal and good because my engine is light...they said if my bike sound smooth,my bike cant speed up to 160km..the rough sound is due to my engine is good...they said the rough sound is normal when we re not `pantang`..`pantang`(burning process) will make our engine lembap...

any suggestion or cmment please
*
1) pantang is important.. it is period for your piston to polish your block. if you rough during the 1st few km, your block won't be polished evenly, and chances to scratch your block is high.

2) rough engine after changing EO is probably you are using lighter EO than the previous EO. Light EO will make your engine abit lighter but it will vibrates more as the oil is so thin. If you are using heavy EO, you will be getting smoother engine but will have to sacrifice abit engine performance due to the heavier oil thickness. Normally, during pantang, people normally use light EO as some friction is needed to polish the block and piston. But after the pantang, it is recommended to use synthetic heavy oil to clean up the shredded metal and protect the engine for long term.

ok second thing about the back absorber.. there is a adjustable monoshock up to 7 level.. not sure what brand. could be racingboy or some ?? I read about it long time ago but if you adjust too high the balance of the bike might be different..
*
I think its the YSS that produce 7 step monoshock..

I use NGK Iridium, on my bikes. bought from Singapore guy RM38 a piece. I have 8. Only BPR9EIX for my TZM. I don't own LC.

mls_gamer: I've been using it a while and so far so good. Haven't been checking since I'm away from home right now. Last time my carb was bad, causing too much fuel and the plug will turn black. Changed the carb and now it's ok. How is your Denso bad? Can take a few pics and show? Maybe can analyze if need a hotter plug or not, especially if you mod your bike.
*
since you've using iridium before, i have a question to ask... is it true, if our piston is standard, it is not recommended to use iridium since the fire (spark) is very large can cause harm to the piston/valve? i heard about this from someone, not sure its a fact or opinion...

oh ya, my motor is LC...

I don't think the plug can harm your stock engine if it is tune nicely biggrin.gif Make sure the bike don't run too lean. Can be tell by checking the plug colour. By the way my experience of using this plug on stock engine is my bike accelerate smoother than the normal plug you can feel the efficiency of the spark plug compare to the stocks. It doesn't give much top speed but it just make your bike accelerate smoother biggrin.gif. Correct me if im wrong tongue.gif

However there is cons in using iridium spark plug. Shorter life span by 50% this is what claim by the manufacturer itself. I guess beside being expensive this is the price u have to pay for using iridium spark plug. That why our Alexei bro brought 8 iridium spark plug to spare  smile.gif
*
shorter life span of what? plug lifespan or engine lifespan?

i see... blush.gif

Is it apply to only Iridium model? How about G-Power?

QUOTE(redframelowyat @ Jan 17 2010, 04:04 PM)
so, no wonder that my engine is vibrating excessively because i use castrol power1 racing (10-40).

yeah, 10-40 is light EO..
