@thetorpedo

michelin 90/80 is quite bigger n heavier than dunlop 80/90
bout the tachometer reading, it depends on the turning radius of the tyres itself
obviously, michelin 90/80 > dunlop 80/90
bigger turning radius = lower speedo reading
actual speed, still the same. just the reading at speedometer is slightly diff smile.gif

been using aftermarket bigbore 60.0mm for about 1 year (n never rebore-ed yet)
acceleration much2 improved, but the top speed IMHO almost the same if using standard CDi (cut-off at 9k+- rpm), need to play around with sprocket ratio (depends on your daily usage or preference)
probs during long distance? i have tested FULL THROTTLE bangi-penang-bangi and bangi-JB-bangi, maintained at least 150-175kmh (on LC speedo - the reading quite 'menipu' rite?), still no pblm so far brows.gif
about the maintenance, i think u need to be extra careful of EO level inside ur engine. always check them (more frequent, better) esp for those who always ride it like crazy (or wateva it means) when changing the EO during regular maintenace, just pour it all 1L and standby another 1 for topup (in case if the level of EO reduced). mineral-based EO also can do the job, but need to be changed more frequent. like mine, using red bottle castrol n change it every 2 weeks, pusing2 area s.alam n sometimes to bangi/hulu langat thumbup.gif
another one is during the installation, make sure they tighten the 4 bolts (yg ikat head ngan blok ke crankcase) evenly using tighten-torque. else, u'll be end up probs like gasket koyak, leakage in cooling system (coolant mixed up with EO) shakehead.gif
when installing bigbore, i recommend to change the standard exhaust manifold to a bigger one (26mm inner diameter shud be ok - if want to maintaned the standard-looked exhaust) coz the std one is too small for exhaust gas to flow out (even for the standard 54.0mm block) rclxub.gif

forget to mention.'m just use the bigbore with std carb. no change in MJ/PJ (105/20), just the air/fuel mixture and a bit on tappet (forgot oledi the gap/clearance) sweat.gif

just my 2 cents cool2.gif

aiyo, 4got to ask. what is the best sprocket teeth combo u recommend?

and 1 more. which is the best & recommended combination.
80/80 + 90/80 or 80/80 + 100/80???  rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif

if u're using stock foot pedal, 80/80 + 90/80 are good enuf already. but of coz will leave some 'gap' at the front mud guard sweat.gif

else, 90/80 + 100/80 will be nice, esp when u fitted them wif RacingBoy 1.85x17(f) & 2.15x17® brows.gif

but AFAIK, diff tyre manufacturer have diff actual tyre dimensions, even they stated the same figure

the list below are from smallest to biggest (all are stated with size 90/80-17)

- dunlop tt900, duro, FDR mp27/57, IRC wings, FDR XT
- michelin pilot sporty, maxxis M6002
- bridgestone battlax bt39, FDR XR

p/s : correct me if i'm wrong ph34r.gif

guys... u know any accessory shop for lc at kajang or kl???
after chging my block i wanna do some make up for my bike..^^
one more thing... u guys know how much lc coverset??
i dont wan any colour on it... just plain cover...
*
kajang - u can try Ren Hup (beside the flyover heading to satay kajang hj samuri)
serdang - there's a few shops at sri serdang,around Padang foodcourt (or wateva they call the place)
i dunno changing the rims can consider make up, but if u want to buy Racingboy rim set, can try a shop that opposite to CIMB seri kembangan (forgot the name of the shop oledi, long time not go there sweat.gif ) - last time i asked for RB 1.85/2.15, RM250 (including bearing and spacer@sub tengah) which IMHO is quite cheap
sentul? (near balai polis sentul there), tonnes of parts and accessories shops.. always getting 'rambang mata' everytime i go there rclxub.gif

@Na0ki
RB 8-spokes i guess? due to more material compared to 3 spokes

if want to lowered front without grinding that stopper inside the t-fork, can use inner tube (the chrome, shinig part of front fork) yamaha ego

saw one of my frens done this, really lowered sweat.gif for sure u have to add more fork oil sweat.gif

btw, i think maxxis tyre oso good for me.. been using it at back since early may'09 till now (clocked almost 20k km) the thread seems like untouched at all shocking.gif ade la sket2 markig layan korner tongue.gif

but again, compare wif duro..used duro b4, thread is still there after 4-5 months, but the grip.. aiyoyo doh.gif dunlop tt900 LP, same duration, center lining oledi gone ph34r.gif but the grip thumbup.gif

@sleerpy
that is ahm SP.. same price with normal ahm, rm100+- if i'm not mistaken. used it b4, people following my back alwiz get angry coz the exhaust tembak straight kena diorg punya muka woo laugh.gif performance i think.. not much diff. just for the sound, abit more bassy wink.gif

my 2 cents smile.gif
