QUOTE(Are_keem @ Sep 25 2009, 11:18 PM) did you change your engine oil (EO) and oil filter regularly? sometimes using cheapo EO also could cause engine knocking Currently using motul i change my EO 1 month 1 time..and the oil filter 2 oil change = 1 filter change..all my motul oil cost at least 30+ =.=" |

QUOTE(alexei @ Sep 26 2009, 12:43 AM) Twist: Is the Motul 10W-30? If not, what grade? Is this since you bought bike? 1st oil is Motul 5000 HC Tech 10w40,2nd is Motul HTech 100 10w40,now i using Motul 5100 Ester 15w50..at morning start nothing..when hot le.u hear the sound..very loud =.=" even inside house also can hear..idle sound loud..when speed up the sound more easy to hear.when i using 1st gear move..i try to pull the pedal abit and the "tok tok" sound come le..haiz.. sad...And mine is SS type..no clutch one..Which model, full clutch? When tok tok sound start? Immediate after kick start or after warm up or after riding around? When does it get loudest - idle or slightly higher RPM? Does it go away at higher RPM? Can you listen and agak which part the noise come from? QUOTE(alexei @ Sep 26 2009, 11:36 PM) twist: from your description, sounds like some parts are loose somewhere - may be worn out, or need adjustment. They say its worn out..i go back cheak edi..they say i using pirate oil filter..wtf..and they say they wont warranty me coz i use such oil filter..and they dun even noe where is the problem..they say either is the valve or block..if block spoil..the cost is 1k++more expensive den overhaul a car..somemore that oil filter how i noe is pirate one?box yamaha ori parts..even inside the plastic also..they can say wad they like =.=" today i go back my dealer..my dealer say its the cam shaft worn out..aiyo..really duno what problem..Forgot to mention, does the bike vibrate more with the noise? Is your bike still under warranty? If not, can you find a mechanic that can tell u what's the problem? I wouldn't pay for an overhaul unless I know specifically what's the problem. Added on September 26, 2009, 11:37 pmevo1288 - welcome, please refer to first page, and give us your info. Added on September 28, 2009, 8:18 pm QUOTE(charge-n-go @ Sep 28 2009, 12:57 PM) I am using Keihin PE28 carb, mainjet is #125, pilotjet is #38. Charge are u from penang?penang foreman very pro overhaul LC?coz i see u change all those block and cam shaft that is racing type..i bet Hong Leong wont help u do so?FC is good, full tank can go 140km - 160km, depends on riding style. That block is about 160 excluding labour charge. Saran, the camshaft is very good. Perhaps can try it on stock bike as well. The torque drop at 3000rpm and below is negligible, but starting from mid-low onwards, it rev all the way up to redline. There is no sudden rush in acceleration. Its a constant rush all the way, smooth up. Tuning in progress now, perhaps need #130 mainjet and #42 pilotjet. I want to shift the powerband slightly to mid-high rpm. QUOTE(POD @ Oct 1 2009, 07:41 PM) Can anyone tell me which bike is better 135lc or 125z considering all the facts, normal ride, for speeding, smoothness, cost of maintaining and many more, with a conclusion. Wow what a big request u wan =.=" i guess if standard LC modi it wont reach 160 in less then 1 min..and i bet standard 125zr also cant do so..and for u notice 125zr is pickup type since its 2 stroke.and LC is ending type since its 4 stroke + liquid cooled..if u race a long highway with ur friend..i bet ur LC and win 125zr..i'm asking this bcoz my fren will buy one of it and if he decided to buy 125z, what should i do to prevent 125z from tapau my LC(standard, only installed CDI) can reach 160kph less than 1min).. Thats my opinion..Correct me if im wrong |
