i'm using a chain tensioner also.but not as fancy and nice like the racing boy's lah.

so far i still didn't have to change my sprocket and chain since i bought the bike.maybe it's because i lube it often also.

the thing is supposed to reduce wear and tear to the sprocket and chain by tensioning it so that the chain won't flop around loosely causing unnecessary damage.

I think he can try checking the carb. Cause i remember last time one of the bros here had the same issue, and the root cause is : one of the screw in the carb is loose / missing.

my carb is all fine.maybe the eo too light d?
cuz last time when i use motul 20w-50 the sound dissapear.
after i changed back to 5100 the sound came back.
maybe it's like that d. doh.gif

btw...who's from ipoh/kampar/nearby areas?

I got only a rough review fr another tester. tongue.gif
I don't know if this is enough for you.
He told me, wif stock carburetor and air filter, can immediately boost top speed.

Its more silent than most of the performance pipe at high rpm full throttle.  brows.gif
I'll do some detail write up and review once the pipe is officially launched. It's a promise smile.gif
For Penang kia, I have the pipe on my bike now, you guys wanna try out, js PM me.
it means camshaft.
see, there are 3 main things to change an engine powerband:

1) camshaft. it is at the cylinder head to control the valve opening and closing time.
2) cylinder head porting --> make your intake and exhaust bigger to allow more gas flow in and out.
3) exhaust pipe --> how to efficiently extract foul gas out of engine chamber.

1st one hard to find a street use one, most of the camshaft are stage 4 in Msia, which means low to mid end sux.
2nd one is easier, but we really need a pro who knows about cylinder head porting. a slight mistake and no turning back.
3rd one, hard to find a good one, which gives u power + pass JPJ roadblock.

Tips to Improve Engine Performance

Minor mod (increase acceleration)
1. Remove air filter. (Penang people can find me, FOC)
2. Reset carburetor air-fuel setting. (Penang people can find me, FOC)
3. Set valve tapette to 10 IN and 15 OUT. - RM30 labour charge @ New Bee Hock motor, Penang.
4. Change to 15-40 with 415 chain. - RM100
can anyone tell me wut is this?
wut does it do to our bike?
