Maybe we can talk about fork fluid mixtures here? I use Motul 5W.
What about USD fork mods, anyone? Gas shocks, adjustables...?

And, Marchesini rims...  drool.gif

oo.. that tyep ah, I know. but you're considered lucky la (or that culprit is stupid tongue.gif ) since most of lock can be opened easily by them, including the real Solex one. among the trusted lock is Abloy brand from Finland. it's used by TNB, Telekom and JBA to lock their sub-station. but that would costs us at least RM200 sweat.gif
*
Its good to invest on safety locks if u could afford it. im using fork lock, cable lock (also at front tyre.. as thick as ur thumb) and of course a double-stand lock. i still wanna add 1 more - sprocket lock.. tongue.gif
Among good locks i would recommend Tri-Circle, coz a police sergeant recommends dis one to me.

Yup.. from my opinion, it's a good mineral oil, but not a performance oil such as semi or full synthetic.

Ya, same question goes 4 me too.

BTW, u guys with aftermarket exhaust ever had experienced "KAPOOM!!" to ur exhaust?
Like mercun bola kind of sound..
i was riding like 120km/h and slowly decreasing to 70 when suddenly that one exploding sound.. "POOM!!" shocking.gif
im sure its from my bike coz there's no other bike around when that happened..
Kind of worried at this moment.. sweat.gif

Your air-fuel mixture slightly screwed.
How much throttle do you open at 120kph?
*
QUOTE(rainingzero @ Oct 22 2009, 02:23 PM)
Experienced this while using Nob1 SSS last time. IINM ur air-fuel mixture slightly lean....
*
OIC.. This rarely happens. BTW, im using nob1 sss.
I think my throttle was opened somewer below 3/4.

When i install the exhaust, the foreman said no need to chg carb settings.
Instead, he said my spark not power enough & shud chg CDI and plug (G-Power). unsure.gif
hehe.. i guess myb he's lazy to do the setting. whistling.gif
Is it too much air? Shud i decrease it?

Did u chg ur carb setting when install the exhaust?

QUOTE(kInOzAwA @ Oct 23 2009, 01:10 AM)
the problem is just come from the aftermarket exhaust.. the mix between the air and fuel is wrongly set up on the carburetor cause that. Apart of it i also suffered the same problem before, when i'm using either Nob1 Trioval or Nob1 Titanium... The manifold on the racing exhaust is smaller than my aftermarket carburetor, so every time i pull the throttle it will explode with a very loud sound... After sometimes you'll noticed there's a bit effect on the engine, in the valve clearance part, it will become badly if you have no action to take on that matter... You'll noticed that the spark plug coloration a bit black from normal. This means you'll need to setup back the mix between air and fuel for the standard carburetor or change main jet and pilot jet for the aftermarket carburetor to the most 'ngam-ngam' one.
*
Huhu.. in that case, i really need to ask the foreman to reset my bike and tell him bout this.
Dun wan to take bad risk for my bike, since i hv no experience setting carb myself. sweat.gif
Thx for the help guys.. notworthy.gif

i've reset my carb. it has been 2 days already. so far no KAPOOM!! laugh.gif
Checked my plug b4 resetting, it was abit white. Clearly, not enough fuel right?
i think im gonna check again in 2-3 days..
