just came home after southern ride these 3 days, that's the furthest my ride had been to. no problem at all after travelling near 1500km in 3 days. also no problem to maintain 130-140km/h on PLUS highway, at 1am summore.. hahaha

QUOTE(Aaron135LC @ Dec 20 2009, 07:43 PM)
have anyone been using faito brand sprocket and chain set? i think faito is better than sss brand.. faito is made from steel but still as light weight as sss brand.. this is what i think la.. so i think faito is better la..cause sss is made from aerospace material..and faito is made from steel.. steel can use for long duration.. so how? i can still buy the faito sprocket and chain set in my place.. nearby sunway... (seberang jaya, not KL)...  hmm.gif  icon_question.gif
*
i'd use faito 420 chain before. the performance is just on the average level, but it will make weird sound in just 2-3 days after the chainlube is applied on the chain doh.gif

QUOTE(Aaron135LC @ Dec 21 2009, 12:24 AM)
but this wan..they said not 420..is 415...? but faito quality good or not? SSS like made from aerospace material..dunno can last long or not..summor not thick..faito wan more thick..not really can makan away...  hmm.gif  icon_question.gif
*
not sure bout 415, but i'm using 420 that time. that aerospace material is titanium, the same material used on osaki sprocket set. but SSS if i'm not mistaken got various type, either made from aluminium, titanium or just plain steel.

QUOTE(sleerpy @ Dec 21 2009, 03:30 AM)
how was ur ride are_keem? did u enjoy it?  smile.gif and where u went? Johor aa?
*
yeah, really enjoy my ride. was running 120-130km/h on Pekan-Rompin road, full with corners + even roads summore brows.gif
too bad most of the journey is in rain, so cannot 'asah' my knee on the road la tongue.gif
and yes, i went to johor bahru and then melaka. imagine what, i arrived at melaka at 3 am doh.gif

QUOTE(Aaron135LC @ Dec 21 2009, 12:06 PM)
osaki brand how much? just need to know... if not i'm gonna get sss brand... the SSS salesman said sss sprocket + chain can use up to 10k mileage..then have to change d.. is it real..? there are thicker sss sprockets.. but higher cost..
*
osaki around rm70-80 per set. actually the durability of the chain also depends on its maintenance. if maintained properly, then any brand should be no problem to run thousands of km.

*
yeah, what devilvanc said is true. it's like a bottom part cover, take a look at the picts below (credit to bro samba18 tongue.gif ) :

user posted image

the belly pan is the cover beside and under the engine (in that pict, the one with 'Yamaha' wording and triangle in shape).

QUOTE(spadecrew @ Dec 21 2009, 10:46 PM)
how to know it is original??
*
sorry, not very sure bout that since i'm not familiar with DID chain.

where's the lady rider's picts? i wanna see it tongue.gif

oh one more thing, they use large rear sprocket because they need more pickup / acceleration rather than top speed. Cub Prix's tracks mostly consists of sharp bends and corners and less straight tracks.

guys...just want to ask wat the bad effect if we install racing cdi??
*
some high end racing CDI (just like Rextor one) need to tune the carb because it didn't only remove the cut off but also increase ignition power. so, proper carb tuning is needed so that fuel shortage won't happen in combustion chamber. this is what happen to my friend's ride, and finally he sold off the CDI.

sifu i need urgent help.... im using lc es clutch. standard. 2 months old. i just changed my cdi to rextor adjustable. but no difference at all... my top speed still the same at 130++.. can some one plz plz help me....
*
i'm not a sifu but what I told is based on my experience :

some of my friends who use rextor cdi said that the TPS need to be adjusted a lil bit and same goes with carb. that's because rextor cdi not only remove the cut off but also boost ignition power. for better explaination, can ask other sifus here smile.gif
