In light of the plight of the rescue mission of the Pulau Ketam dogs, Operafest Children's Choir had decided to put in their artistic talents to sing for the dogs & cats of Furry Friends Farm, an animal sanctuary solely founded & maintained by Sabrina Yeap for the last three years. The choir has been to many countries to perform live in opera houses & halls while winning awards in competitions around the world, ranking them amongst the top children's choirs in the world!

The rescue mission had brought the farm more volunteers as 29 dogs were plucked out from the hell that they endured for several months in a constantly submerged mangrove swamp of Pulau Selat Kering. They were without food or fresh water. Many didn't survive the harsh conditions. Those which did & got rescued are now going through rehabilitation & every cent earned will go towards their upkeep at the farm. There are 100+ dogs at the farm, all of which had suffered abuse, abandonment & untold cruelty. As the farm has a No-Kill Policy, they will be fed & nurtured for the rest of their lives in the safe confines of the farm. We need your help to make this a possibility.

The choir under the leadership of Mrs. Kam, had been filled with compassion towards the well-being of these rescued animals & will dedicate all proceeds from the 1st & 2nd August's performance to Furry Friends Farm. Do support the event even if you cannot make it as we will be bringing kids from orphanages to benefit from your generosity. As they say, charity begins at home.
