Anyone hear living in Temasya Glenmarie or Glenmarie itself? We were thinking of buying a house in that area but after checking google maps we realised that the unit that we like is only 3-4km away from the edge of the Subang Airport runway! Is that too close to the runway? I'm worried about the aircraft noise, emissions, and possible health problems later on. Can anyone share with me their experience living in that area?

There's also REAL International School, Sapura Smart School, and HELP International School further up north. They are not too far from Glenmarie. There's also Sunway International School but they only offer secondary school level.

The fact of the location so close to the switching station might have a negative impact on the price. I would also not discount the possibility of a fishing ads of which most agents this days employed.

As far as I know there is one unit with the back facing the t-junction is the cheapest and this would likely be the one. The noise pollution these units with the back facing the main street is simply unbearable.

The houses were sold at different prices during the launch. We were told some bought for cheaper, and those who bought later paid more for the houses. These are the first owners. I think the launch price was around 2.1m or 2.2m. An agent told us that she sold two units at 3m or 3.1m recently.

The agent will put a lower price on the ad, then later show you the more expensive unit!

I hope they build it along the Federal Highway, instead of next to the new houses.

The Kelana Jaya LRT extension is already running on Federal Highway to the Subang Jaya Station.  Kencana Square will have a link bridge to the station.  For LRT 3, I think it should be along Glenmarie.

But if they build it along the Federal Highway won't there be a better integration of the lines, and easy access to other lines.

Where can we find out about the proposed alignment? I thought they have to consult the residents and people affected before it is built. I have tried checking SPAD's website but no information. I only found some news about the shop keepers in Klang complaining about the LRT3 affecting their pre war shops.
