Odd lot brokerage is RM 12 plus clearing fee plus stamp duty.
Odd lot means anything less than 100 shares. If you sold 450 units ,it is actually 4 board lots of 100 units each and 50 units odd lots amalgamated into one contract,in which case, the minimum of RM40 applicable to board lot is charged. Had you sold only the 50 units, then the commission rate is RM12. |

QUOTE(panasonic88 @ Jul 31 2009, 12:17 PM) wondering what would happen to CCB on second session? If the total price increase is more than the Dividend total of RM1.25,not worth liao!another limit up?? back in 2006, when they declare a RM2.03 dividend, their share limit up TWICE. So,2.66 plus 1.25 =3.91 nia. In theory only. |

QUOTE(cherroy @ Aug 4 2009, 03:07 PM) This one is more interesting. But I think the premium is a bit high at 30-40 %.Can keep on eye on it, especially market has been running non-stop to the upside. If they introduce last year, then it will make a lot of money for those buying it. People will have lot of confidence on warrant then. I will only consider if the premium drop to below 20 % |

QUOTE(cherroy @ Aug 4 2009, 03:48 PM) Want to con, at least must give some sweet first, always con and squeeze retailer dry, where can. Always got lots of water fish when new toys introduced. Anything more than around 20% premium, actually it is not worth to trade on as hedge or as investment strategy. (except for intraday or short term contra which is different than the original purpose of warrant), I don't have the statistic, but we have more than 100-150 CWs being issued previously, I think only a handful are worth something and only a few are higher than the selling price, the rest going down to the drain. Willing buyer willing seller, got fish want to bite the bait! Back to business, what goes up have to come down,if the premium for the Put warrant drop to below 20% after listing ,I will consider to trade (assuming the underlying is HKEX)since the current PE for HKEX is around 36. QUOTE(moorish @ Aug 5 2009, 12:22 PM) My noob analysis: Still holding the submarine(8133)?Notice quite a few counters not going up coz investment house putting very heavy sell pressure to make sure stock stay the same price, but they also want CI to go up bit by bit so thay buy up that few main counter. reason: 1- Coz everyone jumping to share market and they dun wan the 1Msia to phail 2- They keeping it this price b4 they hit the bullrun button 3- I better pray I'm right coz I'm 70% shares Going up slowly but steadily. |
