QUOTE(AdamG1981 @ Aug 5 2009, 11:49 AM) The market will correct itself at due time. Even HSI tested 21000, and failed to break 21,000. Shanghai might go down all the way to 3000. They fail to test the 3500 level as well? Hmm, due to the revise monetary policy? |

QUOTE(debbieyss @ Aug 5 2009, 12:06 PM) This is hard to say. Different people have different risk they can take, therefore each has their own tolerance. So, i cant say for sure. System signaled them to long at the first 1170 level for e.g 1170.5. Right now, most of them are queuing since lowest is 1174.5. |

QUOTE(aurora97 @ Aug 5 2009, 12:12 PM) haha... that explains why Futures Brokers i have met today are super nice ppl (dual license holders is another different story though). Walao, so many steps prior before execution? I once spoke to the head of operations before, shud implement new system prior to execution to minimise trade error... before keying in order.. Step one a mini screen will pop up... 1. "are u sure key-in the correct sum?" 2. "are u sure his trading in the correct instrument?" 3. "does the client have any margin call?" 4. "has the client exceeded his/her position?" 5. if yes "have u advised your client?" 6. if yes "is the order in the best interest of your client?" 7. before your proceed further "Are you SURE?" **** QUOTE but seriously, they do not have any "moral obligation" to advise.. it has been a long standing fact.. If a futures broker supplies the wrong info. the company will hang him out to dry.. the information extended by a futures broker is merely an extended "service" or "courtesy". Don't expect ur local Futures Broker be your babysitter as well You'll be surprise that some of the clients have 'connection' with upper level management, therefore 'courtesy' needs to be shown regardless how many times i kena eff terribly by those clients even if they did it for the wrong reasons. If only there are rules and regulation stated i can retaliate. Not that i want to judge these type of people, but if i have to look at their accounts and the amount they lost plus still providing a professional service to them every single hour, sometimes it breaks my heart. Unfortunately, i still have to put a smiley face for the day. |

QUOTE(debbieyss @ Aug 5 2009, 12:21 PM) From my observation, GrandPine's system will show signal to long at following situations: I'm not keen into that system as well. 1. after selling contract 2. IF contract closes at lowest price, singal for next day will be Long 1 at yesterday's sett price 3. To contra Yesterday Aug contract closed at lowest, which was 1170.5, therefore, Grandpine will showed signal to long one at 1170.5. But you know, market now has so many uncertainties, by just looking at the moving status i have, i have already longed 1 at 1166pt where GrandPine's members still having 1 Longed at 1176.5pt and now queueing at 1170.5. Compare to them, they may or may not able to long as low as mine for today. That's the reason I'm not following the system. If im not mistaken they have a target for August contract at a certain level. They estimate it to be above 1185? |

QUOTE(aurora97 @ Aug 5 2009, 12:27 PM) thats why i say futures broker are super nice, patient and friendly haiizz.. Like it or not, its already a passive role in the our line of duty T.T I had a short stint working in compliance dept, before moving to IB. What is written in the book is always different from practice, this i agree 101%, thats why compliance is there to factor out the 1% |

QUOTE(debbieyss @ Aug 5 2009, 12:31 PM) Ya. I see. Alright. Having 5 consecutive green candlesticks will be likely to expect 1185, for their system analysis. GrandPine management is 100% in bull mood. QUOTE(SKY 1809 @ Aug 5 2009, 12:31 PM) I see the future traders are the confused lots, sign of directionless, that is why need a program to think on their behalf. No offense taken, im just a FBR anyway No offence plse. But i must admit, some of them are directionless, since futures could still be new to understand therefore they need guidance and at the same time educate themselves about futures' potential and limitation. |
