Actually, one needs to remember that sometimes retiring only means stopping from office work, having to report to work everyday, 9-5.
One can take up hobbies, make babies (at 40, still can? LOL gerak² 5mins then mengadu sakit pinggang, lol) go on trips, grow trees..
and the list goes on.
As for the money to cover expenses, one can get it from passive income, e.g income derives from having your money work for you.
i.e pensions, dividends, money you got from your kids(bring them to visit families to collect angpows, for example, haha), rental income (if you have property).
Hmm I've always embed this idea of mine, that one day I want to do things at my own pace, whims and fancies, without having to be bullied by my boss,
and not having to apply to get off days and to get scolded for not being in the office, even though I am sick.
