Hey all, I'm looking up on how to setup a remote surveillance system in my home. Basically, I wanna view what goes on at home when I'm outstation, because the apartment is always empty when I'm not around and there have been a few robberies in the area recently.

I've checked out a few companies that provide the service, but there's alot and mostly based overseas. I was thinking if anyone here has any experience or suggestions on how should I proceed. Thanks!

i'd go for alarm system first, then maybe surveillance

alarm system somewhat protect u when u in the house too - siren noise can deter the intruder - if u got cameras only no use when the intruder attack when u r at home

found this sometime ago googling in this forum

for alarm system google for bluguard or paradox

Thanks for you input bro. I do have an alarm system, a fairly basic one though, but it does the job. I wanna keep track of my house remotely, you know, just in case. Plus it'll be so cool to see your home and who your useless brother brought home without you permission.. opps, I've said too much... biggrin.gif

Anyone has good CCTV vendor to refer for home used?
I have earlier used as company in bandar puteri puchong opposite giant however very very bad after sales service. Called at 4.50 pm wanting to check on some camera problem the lady boss who picked up refuse to reply despite already answered the call. Want her to help me check if still under warranty gave lots of excuse. Maybe she was hoping for new business then only layan if not better put down the phone. Sad. Trapped grumble.gif grumble.gif
