lets just say i paid the same amount as i would if i was getting the game and CC separately (RM160+90) so all i got out of it was the extra box housing the bundle(!)... not the best deal considering both the CC and game inside looks the same as the individual purchase (sans barcode) but since the game promises to be a loong experience, i made an exception (plus i'm just a hardcore collector and wanted the stupid box)
now that u are back with more bundles, it feels like a dumb move since it was less than 24 hrs ago and i only got 1+ hours of gameplay yesterday. oh well this game better be good for all the trouble and hassle i went thru. |

at last this noob silent hunter (no wii speak or keyboard) can finally join the pack...
Name : whyeo ID : FV8PVE sadly my HR is still 0! just want to know if it's possible to lvl up HR from playing the Moda woods offline quests? played thru the tutorial/offline mode until the fishing portion so a bit surprised i'm still at HR0. kyo, i suggest u keep the copy for urself since it's a rare package till u get ur wii back unless ur profit margin is really good. ok will add all u guys when i come online tonight hopefully around 9pm too. hopefully there's a slot for me in a group somewhere.
i'm leaning towards using the lance but haven't actually test it on a real badass monster so not sure if i will stick with it, got lured into it when i saw the gun-lance on IGN this game only allows u to add friends when both are online right? that kinda sucks so one can't jump in and out of an ongoing quest? what if someone in the group gets disconnect halfway? |

the online session was fun last night thks to everyone for helping me lvl up and being patient.
i probably shld have online solo quest first because there was seriously so much to comprehend when i first join up the city, will definitely do so from now on so i can lvl up quicker and join u guys for the higher rank matches later. haven't got a clue about the armour sets you guys are chasing after but i have made it a personal challenge to master this game eventually. just wished there was a dummy guide to learning the ropes for this game, the game manual is pretty thick but somehow i think it still barely covers the entire aspect of the game. |

gundam, offline meaning village quest (moga woods) or city quest ?
playing the village story mode of course but got a little discouraged when i learn u couldn't lvl up from there, still the story does a good job of easing the player into the game. |

what time were u guys online yesterday? i was on btw 10.30pm to midnight but only saw yangkuo online, end up solo questing and earning only a meagre amount of HR exp.
can someone kindly explain to me how the equipment grid works? i read on IGN that your armour total shld amt to 10 to have an significant effect but sometimes when i switch the armours around, the numbers end up on a different row or column, so pening... |

whoa didn't know there were tutorials on youtube, thanks.
about the armours, wearing a complete set of same armour type is straightforward enough but sometimes when i forge a new piece of armour from some parts and put it on, it ends up a different row or column and messes up the whole even 10 total. kinda hard to piece together a complete set when forging armours from different item should yield different armour pieces right? |

i have read that this game looks different graphically on offline (moga village) mode and online (city/moga) mode, did any of u guys notice this?
of course needless to say the game reportedly looks better and sharper during offline mode. |

QUOTE(juwels @ May 12 2010, 08:23 AM) gundam will these event quest be available again after that period? don't think i can lvl up to HR9 in time but that jacket is just too groovy to resist. there will be a new event quest to capture two barroth starting from may 15th to 27th (HR9+ onwards). rewards include tickets to make a hell hunter jacket. it looks cool as hell! » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |

should be a lot more considering the hype and how big this game is but mostly all are like MH veterans only.

note to gundam, maybe should add usual playing time for everyone so we know how many to expect online.
mine would also be around 11pm-1am (latest), weekdays to weekends. |

big thanks to hiro for the bait and everyone for assisting me in the wee hours yesterday night, finally got to HR9 after what seem like forever.
now just need to gather some trapping tools before the event quest window closes for the animal attractions quest! wish i can do all the event quest before they expires but half of them seem pretty impossible right now due to the minimum HR requirement, oh well i'll just take what i can get. btw the capture two barroth is one at a time or both together at same time & place? |

going to try my luck at those headhunter tags again today hopefully i will have better luck this time.
yesterday while i was picking my usual spots to heal up behind a boulder, barroth rammed right through it just to get to me, gave me a real shock. just another quick noobie question, how do i increase the number of slots on my armour? if i continue to upgrade my existing armour, will that open up additional slots along the way? |

couldn't join the two rooms with you guys yesterday evening so ended up playing with random hunters again. no biggie, got one last shot at the event quest again but ultimately fell short on success.
personally i think it's unrealistic for everyone on this thread to always play in the same group because most (except those as gaeryn coined as 'hardcore hunters') will be playing at a different pace, there will always be a conflict of interest and goals (event). High HR is always expected to give while low HR is expecting to take.... playing with random has been pretty pleasant for myself so far, at first i was so afraid of venturing out of the circle because i was such a noob hunter (still am) but once i got a bit comfortable with the game, it was only a matter of finding hunter with similar ranks and goals. |
