Whether or not that's supposed to be 2009, I'm not sure. One thing is clear, MH3 will be nice and retro by the time 9999 rolls around.

How much HR to join Joe's quests? And any idea where to get G Rank Moran?

Evil Jaw is HR51 and above. There are no G rank quests in MH3, just normal and hard aka lower or upper level quests. The only way to fight an upper level Jien Mouran is the weekend event but it's over for now.

I just call them G rank for convenience's sake since those upper rank armors all come with a G

If you access the wii shop before in the US firmware and downloaded something. U need to delete wii shop account then use anyregionchanger to change the shop region.
