you can combine items to make traps too

Net = Ivy + Spider Web
Pitfall Trap = Net + Trap Tool
Shock Trap = Thunderbug + Trap Tool

pls take note the % of success (65%) for Pitfall Trap is lower than others so u may want to have Book of Combos while combining.


as for Barroth, you'll just have to get used its pattern ... and don't be too "greedy" with no of hits as the open time window for hits is quite short.

oh yes, i actually meant how to see clearly where the other hunters are *lol*

i was using LS and it was charged up so i was looking for a section of the monster where no 1 else is near !

some are on and off throughout the day ... but like me, Goku, Gaeryck usually at night only (except weekends).

i am most casual player of all in terms of online apperance i guess but since today is public holiday i'll be going on right now!




as for typing all i can recommend is use a usb keyboard if u can't accept the virtual on-screen keybd.

recap of "Deliver 9 Wyvern Eggs" run yesterday :-

the plan -> 2 eggs per person till we hv 8, final egg goes to Gaeryck. someone suppose to divert Rathian (when it appears)

non-Pro Transporter yk rushes to egg site, carries egg ... runs into herds of cheeky small jaggis ... broken egg. damn. runs back gets another ... snails back to base. sees most other pro transporters almost done with their 2 eggs... sigh

continues.. while reaching egg site, sees Nyx on the way in front. clears a few pesky little jaggis ... Nyx reappears with egg heading back and thanks for clearance. yk gets 2nd egg ... snails back ... but meets Rathian in area 7. brushes through at the sides from Rathian rush ... escapes with egg unhurt.

reaches base ... sees Gaeryck holding egg waiting ... yk waits too bcos unsure if that is last egg (dumb). after 10 secs, Gaeryck writes "put in the egg yk, i'm holiding the last". yk delivers his 2nd ... rushes to help hiro/nyx chop rathian's tail at area 3/4.

upon arrival, aims nothing but tail ... chopped ! hiro signals "noww!!!" ... gaeryck delivers 9th egg in 2secs ... Quest Complete!

wouldn't say it's crap but by losing Razor Sharp and reduction of 1 slot ... that is why i was telling you and Gaeryck about upgrading mine instead of forging new Lagi+ remember?

you will get in replacement the Awaken skill ... if that serves your fancy. all weapons with elements all the way !
