that's the thing, i'm quite comfy with the bowgun already, and can solo anything up to lagi with it... (although gobul was kinda tough, being aquatic and all) so a bit apprehensive about changing.

no that one is exhaust.
sub is the blue one, and with the royal bowgun it is quite effective.

but 60 x 2 (cause of rapid fire) won't be enough to kill a gobul, and considering offline i hardly miss (online with the lag err... susah sikit ) it is terrible... unless you carry loads of ammo making ingredients.

actually i think it looks pretty neat... like some oversized rapper trenchcoat. better than looking like a red indian in a peco suit!

Had a total blast with some of you guys yesterday. Spec-ing to support gunner has 100% changed my mind about bowguns! They rock.

I now carry exhaust, sleep and tranq bullets as well as both traps all the time. Oh and that explosive bullet as well (the one that did in the gobul BOOOOOM!). Might also try and get the perception skill so we know when to lay our traps down.

Best parts last night - barroth in trap --> tranq headshot --> mission complete!
Funniest part last night - when someone hit me with the hammer I totally flew into the air!!! let's do that again sometime and see how high i fly!

yes it does, and when things get hectic i end up shooting the guys quite a bit... usually when they are trying to run away from the baddie

PS. Did some lagi runs with random players after you guys left, all level 17s. First run he 'tapoa' us while having his tea break. Second run we tried a different strategy - not all out offense but disable-attack-disable-attack and managed to capture him! Then we did the same thing 3 more times for everyone's urgent request!!!

as for the trapping bit, you can throw tranq bombs into their faces iirc, and if they are tired/wounded enough more often than not they just roll over and die when trapped without the need to do anything else.

well, shoot enough exhaust bullets into him and lagi floats. Kinda funny too, huge sissy hunk drifting near the surface not moving!

the hard part is getting lose enough to him to actually drug him. Those bullets have dismal range and fall in an arc, even on land

i know what you mean, the only beastie I've met that i don't feel bad killing is that stupid bird thing. Hence i try to trap them whenever possible. Madmoz = no kill policy a.k.a. nature lover!

i like precision on my armor... but might well change it to perception soon.

what to slot (and for that matter, wear) really depends on your own style of play methinks.

yes, just guling guling and avoid it... although that is easier said then done if he screams and stuns you!
