gildarts is indeed powerful, but, if you remember correctly, makarov previously decided to let gildarts be the guild leader somewhere around the grand magic games arc, but, gildarts later rejected the title and left the guild again. seeing this, gildarts is actually a lone wolf and to be exact, he doesn't like the responsibility of being the leader of guild too....

tbh, i thought it was gonna be either laxus dreyar or gildarts, but after seeing hiro finally decided to pan out the story in that direction by letting erza being the guild leader, i can't wait to see more...

by the way, does anyone else here would like to know more about the Ten Wizard Saints here other than me?? i hope the hype for the ''Four Gods of Ishgar'' is real...

idk why, but sometimes i think that hiro mashima is keeping Gildarts for ''something bigger'' in the future..

oh btw, i'm wondering if laxus is now looking for his grandad, thus explaining his absence in this latest chapter...

if yes, then you should know who is the father of Makarov..

i got the feeling that in the next chapter/arc, we will get lots of infos about the Ten Wizard Saints, and especially, the Four Gods of Ishgar!!!

idk if its coincidence or wut, but makarov himself is already one of the 10 wizard saints, and if you look at the wiki, one of the four gods of Ishgar silhouette looks like yuri dreyar....

also, in latest chapter, makarov says that if the "magic council" can stand back up on its feet again, then they might have a chance to attack back the west kingdom... but now we all know already that the ten wizard saints IS the magic councils......

Jacob leesio is very strong 2,, but the way hiro mashima make makarov & Natsu 1-punch him is zzz......& seriously the trollest moment is when Jacob is really really weak against pervy stuffs.......

i know, i know, Hiro wanna add the fun & comedic moment in those serious fight 2 make the chapters more interesting, but what he make in the end is just fail the hype of spriggan 12...

anyway, i really really really beg mashima 2 not make those "bigger players' like Zeref & Acnologia to just 1-hit-ko by Natsu/erza,i wanna see the protagonist struggle
