FYI, we alreadi stop carry in the R1800. The R1900TIII will be better then the R1800.

Oh really ar...very simple answer indeed sweat.gif thanks. notworthy.gif I've search around for reviews regarding this speaker but I can't seem to find any.

Ok I would like to know how do these compare to AL MX5020? or the Klipsch 2.0?

You can always go to the dealers that carry these to brands, LowYat both 2nd and 3rd floor *clue* whistling.gif  whistling.gif

Well, I dun really like to test at the shop. Usually the setting is not so good; all the speaker there also doesn't sound good laugh.gif . You go there to test the boominess and loudness of a speaker, not the quality sweat.gif

I've experience once where even the s2.1d, MX5021 and the FX6021 sound terrible. So you cannot really judge when testing at shop shakehead.gif

Today I went to LYP to test their speaker. I really wanted to hear the R1900TIII. After asking the guy I dunno who tongue.gif to set up the speaker.

To be honest, I was really dissapointed. I dunno why lar but must be the setting.. he put the the speaker on the floor and it sound terrible sweat.gif not worth the RM339. It was to boomy sweat.gif and clarity is kinda lacking shocking.gif

After that straight away I ask him to test out the S2.1d. My friends were very amazed with the clarity. I'm not that surprise though because I test it a couple of times already before blush.gif tongue.gif

After that went to C-zone and bought the S2.1d. Got it for RM380 though after discount smile.gif

Btw , pairing this with chaintech it really does suck out all the bass. Different case though if you use the optical output =/ Using the optical seems that you can blast this thing louder IMO...

If its on table will perform even bettter than the RM339 wink.gif
Because on the floor and the setup are mainly for 2.1, so..
If you want, please call showroom first and will set it up for you wink.gif

As for S2.1D, sure be the best out of 2.1 setup (Edifier) tongue.gif

But the speaker is giving me a problem rite now can u clarify what's wrong? sad.gif

I'm just wondering, have anyone compare S2.1D's DAC with AV710? I have both, but in different location, thus they actually never met.
*
I have both. I prefer using the S2.1d DAC instead. Less problem I guess. The output from the chaintech is a bit to dry for my taste. No oomph tongue.gif

personal preferences, i do prefer Edifier than AL. i dun like AL for the boominess and loose bass ( jz my POV, AL fanboys dun flame me back  tongue.gif )

u still need to hear them urself and let ur hear and wallet to decide..

good luck in hunting for speaker~ rclxms.gif
*
same here. Try out my friend's cs21, the bass is too loose to for me.

Btw, do you guys use the loud mode? Personally I don't like listen to the music with loud mode on. Only use them when watching movies thumbup.gif

i test AL vs4221 dy...y vs4121 better r??....i wanna test edifier S2.1 d...but dun have at my place...for info,i like to hear techno n clubbing music...love the bass...that s2.1 got superb bass r??

I think the bass from s2.1d is tight, can be loud but not that deep. IMO trance sound nice, but techno not that good smile.gif

techno not dat good?????....hmmm...makes me think back... cry.gif

yeah.. not that good for techno. The bass doesn't go so deep. Mid and high sound great though. Maybe you should try M3400?? However I suggest yo to go to the showroom and bring your own cd for testing. Who knows you might be statisfied.

Good thing about S2.1d is that you can blast it out really loud with very little distortion thumbup.gif
