Hello,
Can anyone tell me about distributor of edifier in Kuching, Sarawak?
Been looking for few places and they have limited models only. Been searching here and there even the pinned "where to get what" but can't find anything there. Help me become edifier fan club member too?

I was looking for M3300

Met this prob before with my Sony Hi=-Fi speakers. Perhaps the woofer box is not properly tighten together, meaning when you put loud bass on, the speaker box corners vibrate and where there is gap, there will be sound.
Quick workaround : buy some blu tacks and stick it together or better still return to them if still under warranty.

After drilling the holes on the walls, try use some tightener (made of wood or something, not sure what it's called, inserted into the holes) so that when u screw it on the wall it would be tighter. U sure dun wan later when u syok syok listen... well u know tongue.gif. Good luck vearn27, I was eyeing on R501 MKII but I have too many cables so I got the M3300. Should be arriving next week thumbup.gif Btw, cleaning my ear holes first so can listen clearly drool.gif tongue.gif

Nice place u have there. Neat arrangements! I'm newbie in this as well. But I think 2 front at side table and 1 hanging above LCD is nice arrangements. Now on the hanging part, there is also another suggestion no need to drill holes, get the key chain hanger (those who has adhesives on it) and use the glu gun to glu it to the wall, warning paint may come off if you decide to take it off next time. Not sure about how heavy that thing can handle tho. IMHO try hanging something other than ur sats first around the same weight to test it out just in case. Or perhaps double hanger can tahan more... thumbup.gif

Edit
Blu tack is another options but I dun recommend it. It really depends on the weight to be hang. I usually use blu tack for quick solutions tongue.gif But hey, a suggestion here, you can use both hangar and the blu tack so that the speaker dun shake around if it's too loud, the blu tack just to stick it to the wall thumbup.gif

For your question, I can only answer part of it. No treble control only BASS control found at the back of the sub. The wired remote controller only has volume knob and a HP jack which you can jack your HP with.

Sound quality : sorry I have yet to receive my M3300 so not sure about that.
Comparison : I seldom play with diff speakers, so can't really help you there
Extra : the sats are using neomydium magnets and it's very thin I think.
Another Extra : U can get some reviews from HWM magazine October issue, rated 7.5/10 thumbup.gif

There is a splitter like which you connect to the sound card and there is a volume knob, 3 output 1 input for microphone. The 3 output is for speaker, headphones 3.5mm and headphones 2.5mm. plug everything into this device and there are 2 on/off switch which you can just press to switch to headphones and mute speakers.

I know what you mean troublesome by plug off speakers and plug in headphones to the sound card (especially in the middle of the nite with only ur pc lights on). So this thing is just a switcher and very convenient. Dunno why it is not common there.

Lemme take some pics and show u ppl later k. I'm pretty busy nowadays with part-time and stuff. Be patient... thumbup.gif

I didn't know as well till I went to a PC shop here in Kuching. And I think twice to get it cos wan to see what is it used for? tongue.gif Yup looks like an extension. ON/OFF switch really helps me a lot. Only certain speakers with HP output can mute like the Altec Lansing 4121.

Btw, wan to suggest, perhaps Edifier can do models which has this option? A headphone out with "Mute button" err mute speakers that is tongue.gif. very convenient for late nite surfers and gamers

Ok I try post some pics asap, know how u feel tongue.gif. Maybe I can bulk here who knows?... whistling.gif

I went to a few shops in Low Yat before looking for some solution for this case. But then, I only found splitter and someone told me using splitter will decrease the quality and also potentially of spoiling the audio jack coz headphone draw powers from the audio jack. So, when the power is splitted into 2 and not enough, thus forced to draw more power resultant in spoiling the audio jack sad.gif *however, I been thinking another way what if we off the speakers then? unsure.gif... yet, I dun wan to risk my lovely soundcard sweat.gif*

Anyway, how much it cost? smile.gif
*
Wow. Can spoil sound card ah? sweat.gif
I never knew oh... But I got used one before (a while only) not stable one. sometimes both side have sometimes one side louder tongue.gif Can't really find good splitter here as well.

Not sure how much liao. Forgot about it. Room messy tongue.gif Will check the price again after confirm everything

that's called a preamp, with integrated switchbox.
Not so sure but thanks for the explanation. will try post some pic for confirmation

Ok latest update on my M3300. I will only get it after 17th Nov. Haiya so late one! My supplier said they can only ship and reach around that time. I think it is based on what Edifer said earlier on, Kuching will get this model in this month. Think not my supplier fault. Just the other side wan to ship in bulk so I have to wait longer even tho I placed order on 18th Oct last month! I have a hunch it's like that lah cry.gif

Will be looking forward to look at the photo and then decide whether to buy or not when gained additional info... save fuss from manual switching all da time thumbup.gif

Hehe.. then I'll need to consider for another decent headphone... perhaps Philips sweat.gif *money fly again moneyflies.gif*
*
Orait. Here it is, hope size not too big for loading. It's called some sort of Audio Hub. The big round thing on the surface is not a button. There is only 2 small rounded button. 1st button for switching between speakers & headphones. 2nd button is to On/Off microphone. The Portable hands free is for heaphones handfree jack (2.5mm). Hope that helps...

I'm from Kuching Sarawak. I was shopping one day in one of the shop and suddenly I saw this thing. At first was thinking what am I going to use it for? Finally I bought and tested and quite useful to me. The idea may have crossed some of your mind out there as well tongue.gif

Dunno the price cos I forgot doh.gif
