depend uphill or downhill... 30kph should be fine la, use lower gears when climbing lor alvin.
for downhill no need worry engine power, seldom need to really accelerate at all

my bro-in-law said the rims offset makes the tyres look more protruding to the outside, a bit mini cooper style.
got or not? i cant confirm coz my previous tyres 175 only, so i thought it is due to the wider tyres (195 now).

the rims i bought used. went to change 2 new tyres for the front pair, and done balancing for all 4.
traded-in my old rims and worn tyres for 100 only, but ok la, lazy wanna carry home and they offer free balancing.
anyway, during trade-in old tyres, the mech told me to have my front absorbers checked.
he noticed weird biting patterns for one of the front tyres. damnit... kena spend $$$ again T_T

after changing tyres, went for a test-drive with bro-in law. i not familiar with NS, so he suggested this mountain called "Titi"
it is a hill and mountain area, with uphills and downhills. smooth tarmac, but lots of corners and tight curves. good place to test.
i have to say, these new larger tyres feels REALLY good. cornering feels more predictable (body sways especially) maybe coz tyres lower profile compared to previous, also larger? 

note to alvin: u bila mau tukar? 

eh, not attack corners la, but testing whether handling got difference or not only.

i didnt know tyres need to run-in... alamak... i really noob.
hope no long-term damage to the tyres?
the tyres are sime (i know, i know) but i cant afford the michelin 195/55R15....
very expensive coz i didnt plan to change tyres initially when i swap to new shoes.
so for now, the 2 front are sime (hopefully for their 195R15 range is better than their 175R13)
while the rears are michelin (older ones)

btw, pls advise how to season the tyres properly? thanks

170 each for the sime. the michelin one will cost me 230, tats about 60 difference.
some more its not a tyre shop that i been b4... cant negotiate much
(coz in e end, i summore wanna trade-in old tyres)
but the workers (3 of them) are very polite ppl, tis one i really like.
