wira 1.5 auto a/b 99 like mine only have 3 speed. L, D2, D.
the newer version have overdrive. that means, 4 speed.

apexi turbo timer memang got alot of imitation. the original ones cost at rm300 and above. the auto countdown is calculate from your oxygen sensor voltage (if im not mistaken, check google la) and calc how heavy have you driven your car. and by that, it determines how much idle time you need. NA car, i think no need la.. turbo car need it because scare the oil is too hot and when you turn it off without proper 'cool down' , it will 'oxidize' and jammed the turbo.. (turbo car very HOT de). other than that, the turbo timer reads your car voltage level.

i dunno ler.. sorry.. for me, i would think vacuum meter is a good investment loh.. can see how hard your engine is working, and condition of the engine too.
others, erm.. volt meter, takde use, unless for those digital one which can show voltage before startup and after startup, this can indicate your battery condition lor..
for perodua viva, they should put water temp gauge, as their stock meter, doesnt show the level of the water temp, until it reaches dangerous level.

for voltage, i would prefer digital one, yeah, the reading will tell you whether the battery is kong or the alternator kong.
the vacuum meter got range from mechanical ones, to electrical ones, then there are normal elec de, and stepper de. I personally use autogauge. others, never try before lo.
i got mine, electrical vacuum gauge for +- rm160. now im on boost meter, and that vacuum gauge is no more using. go check at lelong for the price lo.. many types in the market.

im using autogauge de electronic boost meter loh.. others, like apexi la, hks la.. tak mampu ler.. mechanical ones already more expensive than autogauge de..
ppl say not accurate? i dunno ler... how to compare accurate or not accurate leh? but what i know is, dont get mechanical one loh.. easily spoilt woh.. can leak in the meter de..

1. the car came out too sudden

mine is with pressure sensor de leh.. smoked lens gauge with opening ceremony.

opening ceremony is the pointer will move from 0 to full bar and goes back to 0. like performing a self checking.
i also wanna sell mine leh.. but the filter thing, gone liao.. and a bit sot sot.. wanna buy? kekeke

for those gauge with sensor de (electrical type), they have to put 1 sponge filter before the pressure sensor. it's to filter out any dirty stuff going into the sensor. mine is gone, it wasnt even in the box when i install it..
so i just install the gauge without the filter lo (not knowing its function too)..
then before i go for engine transplant, suddenly the gauge is not reading accurately as before. (i know its acting sotsot dei)..
then i took it out liao loh.. after transplant i got put it in.. seems like working again but i dont get to see my POSITIVE BAR!!!! time to get a boost gauge liao lor.
but, if im selling it, i have to tell the buyer ler...

Added on August 12, 2009, 7:11 pmlooks like a air cond compressor de belt. sometimes, you just need to put some 'oil' on the belt and the noise will be gone de. but lets the mech checks the condition of the belt, if it's having cracks, then u should change a new ones.
